Nate is a father of one, living in the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. He is a father first and foremost, and a metalworker second. Nate became a dad in an unconventional way, and has spent the last 5 years raising his son with his partner. After years of fertility issues and struggling to become a father, he met his partner when she was 4 months pregnant; and 5 months later, he helped deliver a beautiful baby boy and took him on as his own. Five years later, Nate is living his best life throughout his journey of fatherhood.

In this conversation, Nate also opens up about his journey from alcoholism to sobriety; and the role his son plays in his decision to make this radical change in his life. And we end our chat by addressing having to reveal to his son the truth about his biological father.
