Conspiracy Theory Thinking (Redux)

In the one-hundred-and-ninety-sixth episode, we take another look at the Conspiracy Theory Thinking Fallacy, starting with Trump and Mike Johnson claiming the California primaries are rigged, and a Flat Earther remaining unconvinced by the Artemis II mission. In Mark's British Politics Corner, we look at Nigel Farage conspiratorially theorising about two-tier justice systems, and Liz Truss coming up with unfalsifiable theories for why the Tories lost the election so badly. In the Fallacy in the Wild section, we check out examples from Frasier, Avatar, Superstore, and Conspiracy Theory (the 1997 film). Jim and Mark go head-to-head in Fake News, the game in which Mark has to guess which of three Trump quotes was made up by Jim. Then we talk about the 'Great' American State Fair.
