Meghaa Gupta is an author and festival curator! In 2018, she made her foray into children's writing with the award-winning picture book, A Home of Our Own, and in 2020, the children's imprint of Penguin Random House India published Unearthed: An Environmental History of Independent India. It's the first book in a widely-acclaimed, unique series of history books on Independent India for young and lay readers, that have been endorsed by Ramachandra Guha, Manu S Pillai, Bittu Sahgal, Tripurdaman Singh and Disha Shetty among others. She’s previously worked with Tulika Publishers, the Times Group and Singapore Press Holdings. Currently, Meghaa is pursuing her MA in Environmental Humanities from Bath Spa University. She is also the co-founder of the Green Literature Festival in India.
