Dorinda and Cherie were very honored to get to speak to Martha Wong. Now in her 80s, Martha, a second generation Chinese American, shares her life journey from her family's experiences in the segregated South to becoming a groundbreaking city and state politician who opened the door to many leadership positions for Asian Americans in Texas and helped give the Asian American community a voice in governance there.
