India Mills: Hey, guys. All right. We're talking about Roni. Let's get started. I just want to give you, um you know, just like my overall thoughts about New York in general. I am going to talk about some things in this episode, um but I just want to say that I am.
India Mills: Truly enjoying. this season i have like not enjoyed roni in a very long time even before They had their reboot. It's just kind of been blah. Like it hasn't.
India Mills: been fun for a very long time. And like, I'm kind of having fun. I'm enjoying talking crap about these people. I'm enjoying just like learning more about them, especially Psy, because you know, she's opening up a little bit more and she's going through stuff. So I am just gonna say I am very happy with what's going on with Roni right now. So if you guys are not giving Roni a chance, one, I'm not sure why you're listening to this podcast because that's all I talk about, plus I like city.
India Mills: But if you were thinking about it, if you watched maybe like the reboot, the first season, you're like, no, this is silly. I'm not going to do it. Like try to get back into it. i I 100%.
India Mills: Would back you. I'm not going to put money towards it or anything because like. I'm not a gambler, but. um You will not be disappointed. I promise. And if you are. Well, whatever. Anyways, so.
India Mills: I want to talk a little bit about Psy and Daisy at the beginning of this episode. So we see Daisy coming over to Psy's house. Oh, also you guys, before I get too much into it.
India Mills: I was like sick earlier this week. I had a sore throat. um My voice, like I'm fine now, but I am going to have to like drink a little bit of my emergency throughout this. So if I'm taking some pauses or if I needed to get a swig, like just bear with me because I don't want my throat to dry out.
India Mills: And I talk really fast and stuff. And like, I just, I just need to take care of this. Cause like it's Halloween this weekend and I have plans. Anyways, so. Cy and Daisy um are together. They're at Cy's house.
India Mills: mm -hmm Sorry. And. I'm okay with this, right? I'm okay with friends making up after they. get into an argument.
India Mills: What's a little bit weird to me is that. They didn't have a conversation that we saw. of them resolving What happened on Mosquito Island? so I've had...
India Mills: Best friends for... many years. 20 might be a, so well. Yeah. i've had best friends for like 20 some years, um maybe a little bit less, but like 15, 16, 17, 18, like a long time. And if we are going to have like a blowout where I'm screaming at you and you're screaming at me and you feel like I don't have your back and dah, dah, dah, whatever it is.
India Mills: before we get back together and we're laughing and joking, like I want to have a conversation like that was. what was going on so i had already said previously like something's going on with daisy like because she could tell the way that she's like coming at her and stuff so I personally wouldn't be able to just like sweep it under the rug, especially now. Like I'm just an over communicator and I want to know either I'm over communicating and I'm talking to you about like.
India Mills: What is going on or I'm just gonna kind of like shut down and like shut you out But they're not doing either of those. They just like got back together and they're like, OK, cool. Like, what's up? And let's talk about our sushi. And, you know, Sai gets served.
India Mills: divorce papers by some creepo she's like he's in a hood it's down and it's like are you sigh and it's just like Do you have to do it that way? I guess I don't know. um Very, very interesting to get served. I'd be like.
India Mills: No, and I was just like run away to like my doorman or something. I don't have a doorman, but you guys know. sias um So I was a little bit happy. I'm like, okay.
India Mills: Like I said from the beginning. i liked psy and daisy i liked that they had a real friendship and they have been friends for 20 plus or longer years. We need real friendships on these shows.
India Mills: Daisy's been getting on my nerves. um But I'm like, okay. So I forgave her and they're just having a fun time. Fast forward and Daisy goes to Carol's house. And she is up.
India Mills: Carol's. vagina at this point she walks in oh my gosh her apartment her apartment her apartment this is just my style is it This is not a Pier 1 imports couch. Okay, does she think that joke is funny? Because like, it's not.
India Mills: Also, Pier 1? What's a great store? I just, I don't really understand. And I need to go back to when Jessel and Erica visited her house to see what her furniture looks like. like I'm...
India Mills: I'm just like confused why she feels like. She lives in this like mansion. Like, does she does she live in the Berkshires? No. or she in the Does she have her Hamptons home?
India Mills: Like. come on like what are what are we doing here so anyways she's chatting with carol and i firmly believed that Daisy thought that she was taking up her side in this moment.
India Mills: For the most part she's like size and onion and when you meet her at first like she's a little hard You don't know da dadadadada um I think she thinks she's taking up for her and essentially telling Carol to give her. more chances because she will open up to you eventually once she trusts you right We all know Carol's not going to do that because Carol's still mad that Cy decided to ask her some questions about her being in the Epstein files a couple of weeks back. So she's not going to get over that.
India Mills: What I don't like is that Carol is... you know i'm not interested in onions because i've been burned by them in the past okay cool like we're apple people and i'm just like carol shut up like we know you're a journalist but stop like trying to like Speak.
India Mills: like a journalist, you know, like we're apples. We're not, we're not onions. And also. Do not come on a show. If you're not interested in an onion.
India Mills: Like. I don't know if you expected to come on the show and thought everybody would kiss your butt like Daisy does. But that's just not the case of how real people are. Like, I do need to get to know you. ah You were involved. Your name was brought up.
India Mills: was something that's very major and very serious. so I'm just not going to automatically like you because you're. Carol. who has been on the show before, who has been married to, today I don't care.
India Mills: I really don't care It's not doing anything for me. Is it putting money in my pocket? No? Daisy probably thinks that it will do something for her and put money in her pocket.
India Mills: But. Not for me. So no, whatever. So. As they're chit -chatting uh care r Daisy can't help but to... Say something negative about Psy, you know, she's She started off with She's an Onion and get to know her ah essentially. And then when Carol's like.
India Mills: Now. Jay's like, okay, well, this is my friend and I could get something from her. So I should probably make sure that she's still happy with me. So why does Sai serve me supermarket sushi? And I was just like, what?
India Mills: Like... What? I guess I don't. Get it? Um. I. Again, Daisy? Say she doesn't have money She has money. She has a rent -controlled apartment.
India Mills: and I'm sure she gets paid well by Martha. I'm sure. the hairdresser husband. also gets paid well. but supermarket sushi.
India Mills: Like. Is that like a Trader Joe's? or like a whole foods is like, I don't know. But like, it's not like you're eating caviar every night. I just don't get She has such high standards and like such.
India Mills: quality taste, quote unquote, but it's like, you don't live this way. That would look I'm so simple, you guys like that would literally be me. walking over to somebody's house and be like,
India Mills: Where's your like golden chairs? or something. Where's your Cristal? Where is it? Now! ah Give me some LaMarca Prosecco and a nice glass and I'm good. Like Daisy is just doing the absolute most. And I feel like it's a.
India Mills: She's putting on. I just can't imagine she's like this in real life. Because that's annoying. And like, shut up. So. I want to. to do a segment that I just made up.
India Mills: And the segment is called... Sigh. My girl. Daisy is not your real friend. And here's why. This girl. Eh.
India Mills: I don't know what made her flip. um'm I'm going to assume she... Feels like she can get more from her relationship with Carol. than she has with Psy. Um.
India Mills: But the fact that She's speaking with Carol in her home. And Carol feels so comfortable. Speaking negatively about side how she doesn't want to get to know her and all of this stuff. And she's telling it to someone who is known to be size closest and oldest friend, especially on this cast.
India Mills: That tells me something. That tells me that y 'all talk about side. more than what we're seeing on camera. That tells me that she's very... She feels maybe closer to you.
India Mills: than what you are to side because there is No way that I would allow, sure, if you're like, ugh. whatever my best friend's name is like, Oh, that girl, like just rubbed me the wrong way. I'm like, no, no, no, no. Like give her another chance. Like.
India Mills: that is not how she is like she's amazing she's great we've been friends for so long like Don't. If that person continued to start saying, well, I don't want to get to know her because of this and because of that and her colorful past and blah, blah, blah.
India Mills: No no no no. Like. all right all right you already said your one thing i already reassured you that this person is cool and that you'll get along with them eventually we no longer need to talk negatively about them and if you decide that you don't like them after you meet them again, or if you have another interaction and that's on you and that's fine, but you gotta go talk about that with somebody else.
India Mills: Not with me. Not to my friend. But Daisy ate that up. And it's weird. so That's number one. Oh, well, she's not her friend.
India Mills: um And then number two. Hmm. I don't like. that Whenever a friend Friends, family, whoever, when they know you and they're close to you and they know things about you, so on and so forth, once you get into an argument, they throw it back at you.
India Mills: So I don't know for sure if Cy doesn't have quote unquote. Real friends. and in the real world outside of this. um But... We'll get into the argument between like.
India Mills: Psy and Daisy later. But one thing that Daisy did in that argument is. you know that's why no one likes you. She said that before. And Cy was just like, what the? Okay. And then she goes, this is why you don't have any friends.
India Mills: And I feel like as a friend, as my friend. You don't say stuff like that. You don't care about my feelings. You don't care about me at all. You're writing hard for this girl that you just met. for whatever reason, and then you're.
India Mills: saying things to me like, well, this is why you don't have friends. This is why no one likes you. And I'm over it. I think that is just, that's just whack. At the end of the day, there's no other way to explain that. Daisy is whack.
India Mills: End of story. like A real friend. does not Say that. And also she's not her friend because Daisy cares about what other people think.
India Mills: I'm sorry I can't be friends with somebody like that. That is very annoying. That is a people pleaser. That is somebody that like bends and molds themselves to like have other people like them. And at that point, like.
India Mills: I can't. Trust you. I can't rely on you to be this. Person that I know like you're one person here. One person there, one person there, just so that people can like you. And I just feel like that's freaking weird.
India Mills: I feel like she's too old for that. And it's just unnecessary. And it's actually kind of comical that she does care about what other people think of her because she's so unlikable right now. Like she has been so unlikable for the past like three or four episodes.
India Mills: and I could just imagine Carol's crashing out online. I haven't seen anything from Daisy, but I'm also not following her. or people aren't reposting because I'm not following Carol. either i don't think Um.
India Mills: But I wonder if she's crashing out. You guys let me know Hold on. I'm just taking a sip of this urgency. My throat is getting dry.
India Mills: Sorry, you guys, if that doesn't edit out. I apologize I do have to clear my throat. um Another thing that I don't like. And why I feel like. Daisy is whack and a whack friend.
India Mills: Everyone. is putting that Psy has had like a bad life, like this is why she's so hard and so tough. That may be true, but they are also acting like that they're not.
India Mills: from New York and have than in New York, especially Carol, all their lives.
India Mills: I have no problem with size delivery. I don't see anything wrong with it She yelled. Let's get to the argument. let's see the argument So...
India Mills: Erin is throwing Abe. Who's Cuban? um Did anybody else know that? Because I didn't. also you guys online have been on threads have been telling me that she mentioned it their first season But that totally went over my head, so I apologize. but She's throwing him a birthday party at their home. And it's Cuban themed because he's Cuban.
India Mills: and At one point in the party. Sigh. wants to talk to carol so she like yells her name carol carol from like across the table is what she said not across the room but across the table Carol is not.
India Mills: is ignoring her and look.
India Mills: I don't like when people call my name across. Like. if some way. But if I know that voice. I'm gonna like turn around and be like, yeah, what's up? Like if my best friend's calling me, if a friend that I know, call whatever.
India Mills: Yes, what what do you need? Carol purposely didn't turn around, probably because she knew it was Cy's voice. And she wants to contain this grudge. um But Daisy decides to.
India Mills: And I. just like Really don't know why she felt the need. to like fight Carol's battle yet again. Because Carol can speak for herself. And if Carol doesn't want to talk.
India Mills: Then we need to shut it down. And we move forward and we go enjoy some Cuban food and a freaking mojito with mezcal because. Sorry, Aaron. That is not a mojito. You should have just made a mixed drink.
India Mills: and named it Abe's. sugar juice i don't i don't know smoky juice because mezcal is smoky i do not like mezcal but i love Tequila just Namaskar.
India Mills: um so Daisy decides to... Fight her battle. And Sy's like, I'm not talking to you. Shut up.
India Mills: And Daisy's just like, can I help herself? She keeps going. They keep going. It gets blown out of proportion, in my opinion. Like, I wish. Daisy would just be like, oh, dang, my bad. Like, I was just trying to tell you to, like, speak to her in a different way. First of all, do not ever tell me how to talk.
India Mills: I'm calling her name. We're not like. At a banquet hall, at a funeral, at a... Gala.
India Mills: We're at a house party. like What? It's just like. It just does not. That girl. She's on my last.
India Mills: I don't even know if I have any more nerves for Daisy. but Anyways, Daisy! Decides to go and sit back with like. Carol and Aaron and bla blah, blah, blah, blah. blah And I just really.
India Mills: I really need her to get a wake up call. I really hope. I don't. want to rush to the reunion. But I need Psy to just like. lay it in, like lay it on her.
India Mills: Just literally dogger out like i'm okay with that just dogger out and then you guys make up at the end You know, I don't want things left unresolved so One last thing before I move on to Salt Lake City.
India Mills: i don't know how long i could talk you guys this is actually hurting my throat
India Mills: We get to meet Devin. um who is a friend of, and it's like, dang. What is this episode? Eight. I don't know But it's like, well, where the heck was she? Because they were clearly filming with her before because we saw a flashback with Jessel and Erica with them in like a hot tub. But Devin comes in. I'm excited to get to know like a new person. I didn't like how she came in and kind of was like.
India Mills: anti -sci because y 'all know Psy is my girl. but um You know, Cy apologized for... saying that her Instagram was boring or uninteresting or something which I feel like if somebody said that to me, I'd just be like, okay. Like, I don't think I would hold a grudge. But I mean, my Instagram is cute because it has. my daughter on it, my personal Instagram. So.
India Mills: If anybody were to say that, they'd be lying. And so I would just have to laugh at it. but Anyways, they made up, hopefully. It lasts. I don't think it will. um because i feel like i remember in one of the clips devin was you know, she had some words for Zai.
India Mills: But... Overall, you guys. Again, this is my show. I'm enjoying New York. So, so much. Okay. One last thing.
India Mills: Sorry, I said that already, but. i just have to talk about how stressed erin was at this party it kind of made me laugh So she she's having a party seemingly on a weekday.
India Mills: um So the kids are upstairs. So she's in a townhouse. The kids are upstairs. But they keep coming down. They can't come down. They're eating know the food. They're eating ice cream. They're on iPads, da -da -da -da. Erin's freaking stressed. She's like, I already got to pay two to three million for this house, this other house.
India Mills: my vacation home. I'm spending unnecessary money on Abe's birthday. And. My kids will not leave me alone. Now.
India Mills: If I had 15 kids, I would not be throwing a party. during the weekday. at home. They're not going to stay upstairs. Like. Let's be honest, you should know your kids.
India Mills: Ah. I don't imagine my daughter would stay upstairs. There's a whole party going on the second level. like She's gonna want to join. So at one point They need to put the kids to bed. And Aaron and Abe are like bickering.
India Mills: Because Abe must have continued to say like. On my birthday, on my birthday, like I got to do this on my birthday and listen. I love a birthday. I don't think you should be doing anything that you don't wanna do on your birthday, whether it's your kids or not. You guys can disagree if you want. I don't care. But if I don't wanna do something on my birthday, I'm not doing it.
India Mills: I don't care how old I am. So. Anyways, he ends up having to do it. And she's just like, what? Like, why are you? Why are you acting this way? And it's literally because Aaron probably always does everything for the kids. And she's just like overstimulated and just like annoyed that Abe just won't do it because they probably listen to him anyway, like better.
India Mills: Um. And they're arguing in a. you know is in his confessional and he's just like like we hired someone to do this like why do i have to do it and it was very mia and danny from the valley because they kept having those same arguments as well like If we have someone here to help.
India Mills: Why am I doing stuff? And like, I see both sides. One, just like being a mom. You do want to be like super involved. Like you could be overbearing. Aaron could.
India Mills: is probably an overbearing mom, even though she likes to have space away from them, which is totally normal. um but then also on the other hand it's like well why did i pay this person like then they can put them to bed. So like I got Abe's side and I got Erin just being like irritated because she's probably like, you could do make them go to sleep in a minute.
India Mills: Whereas, Me or the babysitter, we have to like. do a routine whatever whatever it may be but i just kind of thought it was funny because that homegirl was stressed but erin Looked amazing.
India Mills: i was like dang she looks really freaking good she's always been cute she looked really good at her party Go U! Go for Aaron. Okay, anyways. Salt Lake City.
India Mills: So this is the... Let's meet Tripp. episode. um Heather's man. And you know what? I actually think she likes him I don't know unless she's a really good actress.
India Mills: What do you guys think? I don't know. She she seemed... So be happy. um Good for her. Whatever. So. I'm gonna just kind of like hit these.
India Mills: little by little. Whitney. I am a little bit disappointed because like I actually had high hopes for her. um At the beginning of. this season when she decided to like Give a very heartfelt.
India Mills: um Apology to Lisa. I felt it. I was like. That came from the heart. I love that. They're going to move on. pao off You know, she tries to apologize to Meredith.
India Mills: Meredith doesn't accept it. And I feel like Whitney was just like, well, F this. If she's not going to accept it. Then I still don't like her. Now, me. on the other hand.
India Mills: Okay, I do kind of have that same like effort mentality as well. Like if you don't like me, like I don't care. But if I did something wrong to someone. publicly I apologize they didn't accept it I would have to be okay with that and I would still be on my best behavior I would still kind of show them that like I actually am Sorry.
India Mills: And Whitney's not doing that. I don't know why she thinks that she has changed. Her behavior is exactly the same. It's just she's not drinking anymore. So maybe that's what she means by like she's trying to change and like she's healing and stuff like that. but Homegirl is exactly the same. so know what she's talking about um But I have a question for you guys. Okay, so. We know that Kwai said,
India Mills: that Whitney basically wanted to take. Meredith down, get Meredith kicked off the show. I am interested to know. If Meredith? Okay, so that's what Whitney came to the season thinking.
India Mills: but she also came into the seizing money to apologize to Meredith. If Meredith would have accepted her apology. Would she still want it to kick her off?
India Mills: i I don't know. Like, what would what would Meredith and... Whitney's relationship be right now if Meredith was like, you know what? I accept your apology. Let's move forward. what would she do? Would she still be like, dang, like I still have to go with this plan of getting Meredith kicked out? Or would she switch her plan?
India Mills: midway. I don't know, but it's confusing because you can't have had a plan at the beginning of the season to want to kick Meredith off and then. also have a plan to apologize and make things better. You can't do both.
India Mills: So I'm very interested to know. What do you guys think? would have happened if Meredith accepted Whitney's. Apology. I don't know. And we won't know because Marilyn's like, girl, get out of my face.
India Mills: Don't like you. Okay.
India Mills: Holy cannoli.
India Mills: Sorry you guys, I had to take another swig. I'm gonna have to wrap this up. This is gonna be a little bit shorter. I'll put the rest of my like thoughts about. Salt Lake City on threads, but.
India Mills: I just have to say A couple of things really quick about Angie. um She's an interesting character. So they have that reading from whoever that mystic person was. And it's like Scorpios tell the truth. So Angie is like.
India Mills: Let me be the truth teller. She grabs Bronwyn and she tells Bronwyn that. Um. Lisa thinks that. she's a PR or her and her boyfriend is like a PR stunt.
India Mills: Okay? she tells her that well first of all she tells her that britney is looking up the d to her house And Roman's like. upset about it this is stupid why are they even talking about it dah-dada dah Then she's like, do you want to know what Lisa said? Bronwyn says no.
India Mills: she's like i'm good where i'm at I don't need to know Angie cannot help herself. to involve Lisa and to... Every. single aspect of her life and her being.
India Mills: And she's like, okay, well I won't tell you that Lisa said, Brandon is a PR stunt. And it's like, if the girl wants to protect her peace. And not. hear what Lisa has to say about her because she's already hurt by Lisa.
India Mills: Why? Would you still tell her what she said? But you didn't tell her anything you said. You did tell her how like nothing ever adds up.
India Mills: or anything else that you said at the table. Did you? No. You didn't. But it's interesting. This episode was just like. all Kind of like seeing the cracks in this alliance that they have. And it's crumbling like Whitney and Angie. Whitney's mad that Angie said that she's messy and she's calling her out. and Brittany Bronwyn, because of the whole deed to the house thing.
India Mills: Whitney's mad at Heather because Heather didn't like take up for her during her conversation with Angie as if she needed help. That was weird. um They eventually call her two -faced. I'm just like, whoo. guys. um this is a bit much. It's a bit much. And I'm enjoying every single second of it. But it's like, they're not going to continue to.
India Mills: let it crumble because like they need each other. So I had a group chat question because everybody was on Brittany's head this. this episode. Mary wasn't having it. Bronwyn wasn't having it. Lisa wasn't having it. Seth wasn't having it. Meredith wasn't having it. Like nobody.
India Mills: So I... Actually, it was just like you guys. Do we think Britney should just exit the show? Literally, almost everyone said yes. Like.
India Mills: Yes, I couldn't type yes fast enough. Yes, I don't understand why she was there to begin with. Tame Talks go, I can't say yes loud enough. OMG is so hard to watch. It's so bad at times.
India Mills: I haven't even watched the last two episodes yet. And yes, she should be gone. like she hasn't even watched and she knows that british should be gone because she's annoying but some people you know, there's always gonna be a few.
India Mills: Um. ah Wait, first of all, somebody said three years ago. That is hilarious. So, someone... PhotoAmy33 said, no way, she's highly entertaining.
India Mills: So we've got some others. Adam Barrera says, I enjoy her. Okay, Adam. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. LOLing. glasses. i hope I did that right.
India Mills: I like her, actually find her funny, but I think it's kind of odd how much they bully her. But they definitely edit the episode like she's about to be kicked off. And that's one thing, too, is like she is very annoying to me. But.
India Mills: She is the punching bag. And I said this on threads. her first season like i kind of and Kind of enjoyed it. Like I thought it was funny that like She was like the brunt of like all the jokes and stuff and I know that's kind of mean um but now it's just like too much and she doesn't know when to like back away or stop like she just wants to continue to go go go towards the fire and it's like
India Mills: Brittany, go the other way. It's weird. Also, why does she have sour patch kids or Swedish fish or something in her hair? And why did Angie eat it? That was weird you guys. I don't know what they were doing over there. mm -hmm But one more thing before I go. So I don't think that Angie and Mary are talking are cool right now. And I'm trying to like find cu clues in the show to see like why they are not friends. I have no idea.
India Mills: One clue I have. Is it because... Angie. talks too much and she didn't get her story out quick enough when she was at high tea with Mary.
India Mills: I don't know Clue number two. Is it because Mary was like super embarrassed that Angie decided to do a whack toothbrush thing to get back at Clyde? I don't know.
India Mills: My clue number three is... Is it because Angie... was Kind of buddy buddy with Britney. at this party that like the meet the trip party And i don't I know Mary doesn't like that. We all know Mary doesn't like that. Like, do not go and befriend this girl that I don't like.
India Mills: So what do you guys think? I don't know the reason why they're not friends. Maybe it's out there and I missed it. But if you guys know. Literally let me know. but I got to get out of here. I got to go rest my voice and my throat and like everything. So I'm good for this weekend. But you guys have a very safe and happy Halloween if you're celebrating. And if not.
