Welcome to the Squared Circle Podcast! I am your host Marie Shadows! This is a special, exclusive twitch podcast episode! If you aren't following me on twitch, please do so now with an easy 2 second follow at: twitch.tv/marie_shadows.
In this episode, I discuss the hot topic from the angry Internet Wrestling Community on Twitter. On Friday Night Smackdown, from WWE, on November 11, 2022, Sarah Logan made her appearance with the Viking Raiders. She's dressed in standard and traditional Viking priestess attire and has been part of the Viking Culture for a long time. In Ohio, where Sarah and her family live, there are Viking Festivals to celebrate the culture because there are Scandinavian people living in that state.
So, Sarah has a wonderful entrance with the deer antlers head dress and the whole imagery screamed Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Max The Impaler is dressed and inspired by the movie Mad Max. As a civilization that creates fictional places and characters, we created the idea of apocalyptic societies and lore. There's no Viking culture in an apocalyptic setting or lore. The dress is different. Sure similar for the colors and material but these two women have two different story paths.
What I talk about:
Everything expressed in the video are of my opinions and it's ok to disagree. If you are going to disagree, then please do it respectfully. That's all.
In other news, this week, I will be interviewing NJPW Star Robbie Eagles about NJPW Tamashii, the brand-new brand for NJPW. Tamashii will focus on New Zealand, Australian, and Oceania wrestlers. NJPW Tamashii just a 2-night successful wrestling event in New Zealand and Australia.
This interview is happening on NOV 16 - 7PM EST / NOV 17 - 11AM AUS! Sign up for free notifications to remind you about the date! Way better than twitch notifications: lu.ma/robbieeagles
