Today’s guest is my old Friend, Sadiki Malik. Sadiki and I met and bonded around the time of the emergence of the neo-soul sound in Philadelphia. As an artist, among other things, he is a self-described upcycler of old magazines. 90% of his art with this medium is hand-cut paper, but he also does unique leather work. Sadiki is also a respected chef and culinary artist and has been on the creative scene in Philadelphia for many years, working with artists, some of whom are now household names. We discussed a range of ideas, so let's dive into this special 2-hour conversation with an old friend and creative thought partner.
