Introduction and Podcast Overview

00:00:15
Speaker
Welcome everybody in to Warm Weather Fans, the Sunbelt Podcast. My name is Brian Stone. Once again, we have a full house here. Matt Miguez, Zeke Palermo. We are back to talk about week two in the Sunbelt.

Week One Recap Highlights

00:00:28
Speaker
ah If you did not check our week one recap, please go ahead and do that. We actually had quite a bit of, i think, insights that we took away from week one, more than maybe you would even expect ah from a lot of teams that played these paycheck games.

Personal Anecdotes and NASCAR Talk

00:00:43
Speaker
But before we get into all the week two action,
00:00:46
Speaker
Zeke, what's up? um Actually, a lot. I know we just spoke 10 minutes, not even 10 minutes ago to record the preview. um And as we hopped from one recording room to the other, I filled up my water and spilt my Brita all over the floor.
00:01:03
Speaker
I filled it like right before we started recording the preview and it was sitting in my fridge. I was ready for a cold glass of water and I just dropped it. Nice. Matt, I'm doing okay while we sit here.
00:01:17
Speaker
I have the NASCAR race on my television. The NASCAR playoffs began tonight. They're racing at the Lady in Black, as it is referred. It is Darlington Speedway and in South Carolina.
00:01:30
Speaker
And my driver, Georgia's own Chase Elliott, is currently in 33rd.
00:01:40
Speaker
So ah things are things are going well. Hey, man, it's okay. They still have 80 laps to go. you You've got time. They have 85 to be exact.

JMU vs Louisville: Can the Underdog Win?

00:01:49
Speaker
to be exact All right, so let's go ahead and get on week two, these week two games here.
00:01:57
Speaker
um This episode is going to come out, I believe, like Thursday-ish. So we'll go ahead and jump on ah this game here. So we the way that we did it last week, for those who didn't listen or maybe didn't get around to it before the the weekend kicked off, each one of us brings an individual game that we want to say, hey, look out for this for reasons A, B, and C.
00:02:20
Speaker
ah But the rule is you cannot pick your own team's game. And so this one was easy for me because frankly, my team is going to take a steel toe boot to the dome ah this Saturday. So this was an easy one to to pick my, in my own backyard, James Madison coming to Louisville on Friday night to take on the cards.
00:02:41
Speaker
And Matt, you remember one Miller Moss ah starting for the Cardinals. Uh, going to be honest, didn't look great against, what was it, Eastern Kentucky on Saturday through two interceptions. So JMU might have a chance here ah to to make some noise if they can kind of settle on a quarterback.
00:03:03
Speaker
We talked about the Sluka-Barnett situation. um You know, the old saying goes, if you think you have two quarterbacks, you don't have one. You don't have none. And I think this is just one where...
00:03:19
Speaker
I mean, I understand using Sluka like in spurts like here and there sparingly. ah But frankly, this thing where you're like pulling Barnett off the field so that Sluka can throw passes like ultimately you're just going to have to settle on one of these guys like long term.
00:03:34
Speaker
And if it's not Sluka, then he just has to be kind of a gadget player. ah This could be an interesting one. Like I said, this is a ah more vulnerable ah Louisville team than we had last year when Matt's quarterback, ah Tyler Shuck, ah was starting instead.
00:03:51
Speaker
um Yeah, this is going to be a super interesting one because you've got kind of the team that's the cream of the crop, I think, of the Sun Belt as we stand today and and the the favorite to represent the East against a a pretty good team P5 opponent that's like middle of the pack-ish in the ACC. This will be an interesting one, and I'll definitely keep him close eye on this one.
00:04:15
Speaker
yeah Yeah, I mean, no, go ahead. You got i you know I really like this matchup. um you know I think if there's an early candidate for an upset, it would be James Madison on the road here.
00:04:29
Speaker
Look, I like Louisville. I think that they're a ah talented team. I think the world of ah of Miller Moss as a quarterback and Isaac Brown is is one of the probably the most underrated running backs in the country.
00:04:42
Speaker
And so I really like, you know, the way that their offense is designed. But again, like I said, f ah if James Madison wants to make some headlines and and really put themselves into the conversation for the G5 playoff spot just two weeks into the season, um they've got a prime opportunity to do it Friday night.
00:05:01
Speaker
Yeah, man. I'm just excited. ah These are the opportunities for Sunbelt teams to put themselves on a bit more of a national map. um You know, it's an unranked Louisville team, but it's and still Louisville. that's ah That's a national brand.
00:05:15
Speaker
um And at 7 p.m. on a Friday, um that's only ESPN2. What other games play on Friday? That's it. None at all across the country?
00:05:28
Speaker
I think that's the only one. Well, ESPN2 Friday night. um Yeah, the do do us all a favor. the only It's the only national televised one other than Boise State and Eastern Washington. i man the only game It's the only game on the yeah ESPN family of networks.
00:05:48
Speaker
All right. Well, like I said, the the the these are the moments that Sunbelt teams can you know Just help the conference out. Throw us all a bone. um so go do it.

Game Preview: Tulane vs South Alabama

00:05:59
Speaker
Zeke, what's your game to watch out for this weekend? ah It's going to be Tulane, South Alabama. I think Tulane ends up winning this one pretty comfortably without a ton of issue. um But South Alabama, as we talked about last week, um put up some pretty orange-yellow flags ah with their performance, namely coming just in the the matter of inability to sustain long drives.
00:06:24
Speaker
Um, this South Alabama team has some really, really good players. Uh, Bishop Davenport was incredibly efficient. They're going to keep trying to kind of work him into a full, full offense. Kentrell Bullock, uh, has been in that backfield for a couple of years. And even with fluff, Bothwell's kind of breakout last year, he was great. Um,
00:06:44
Speaker
So for South Alabama, ah ah kind of like ah James Madison, but a tier below, this is your chance to say, hey, have you actually turned a corner? um Or are we still stuck in in this like eight-win ceiling purgatory that um the Jags have been in for a couple years?
00:07:01
Speaker
ah Something I am excited to see as well. ah Let me make sure I've got this right. ah But re a familiar face ah that we'll be seeing is Santana Hopper, ah former App State defensive lineman now at Tulane.
00:07:14
Speaker
Santana Hopper last year, an all-conference first-team nominee, ah graded out as the highest-rated defensive lineman in the conference last year. or So, um you know, hopefully he only spends a year here at Tulane and then gets an even bigger jump next year because he he was excellent at the app and I want to see him succeed Zeke if I told you that South Alabama was only a 10 point underdog to Tulane what would you say I think that's pretty comfortable. like i i i The way i kind of anticipate this game, consider this, you know, you're throwing darts here, but like I think it's reasonable that Tulane takes a 10-point lead relatively easy and it just kind of sustains it the rest of the game, kind of trading punts or trading touchdowns, trading field goals.
00:07:58
Speaker
um But there's also... i That's the ceiling. That's the glass half full. Glass half empty is, as I said, South Alabama needed 17 points off turnovers to beat an FCS team last last week.
00:08:14
Speaker
So this this could just be a rolling, especially after what Tulane did to Northwestern. um the This could get ugly. So I think 10 is kind of what I optimistically hope for and optimistically expect. um But as a line...
00:08:31
Speaker
Maybe if Vegas really wants to have the edge or make, you know, their job is to find the number and maybe that's not the most realistic number. Matt, what's your game?

Rivalry Alert: Texas State vs UTSA

00:08:43
Speaker
Hey, like John Summerall said, don't disrespect the city of New Orleans. But look, man, um I'm going Texas State UTSA. This is a ah yearly matchup, a really fun battle between two group of five schools not too far from each other, ah UTSA in San Antonio and and Texas State and San Marcos. They're only separated by about two hours.
00:09:06
Speaker
Yeah. Dating back to 2012, they've played each other. This will be the seventh matchup since 2012. And UTSA owns a five and one record against them.
00:09:21
Speaker
The one win coming last year for the Bobcats. um in a 49-10 affair over in San Marcos. um Look, I really like UTSA's chances here. Robert Henry Jr. is ah is a running back that got 177 yards and two scores against Texas A&M last night.
00:09:42
Speaker
He has been a producer for UTSA in the past, had 600 yards in in 24 for the Roadrunners, and he kind of picked up where he left off again here in week one and in College Station.
00:09:57
Speaker
I really like him to continue to be a force in the ground game against a team that we've talked about many times in Texas State that has struggled defensively.
00:10:09
Speaker
over the last couple of years. um I like for him to have a big game at home and UTSA to get the win. I want to see this will never in a million years happen. But I want to see the Texas-only conference.
00:10:23
Speaker
Let Texas A&M, Baylor, Texas, you guys can remain where you are, but you get North Texas, Rice, Sam Houston, TCU even, because God knows what TCU is.
00:10:34
Speaker
Texas State, UTEP, UTSA, you get all these Texas teams. You make a 10-team conference. You but invite like Incarnate Word or Lamar or whatever. Yeah, one of those high-end FCS.
00:10:47
Speaker
Army's, the team that beat Army, Tarleton State. Tarleton State, you invite them up to FBS, get me a 10-team Texas conference, man. Let's do it. ah and I don't hate that idea, actually. I really don't.
00:11:00
Speaker
That'd be fun. Yeah, I like UTSA to beat Texas State in this one.

Troy's Tough Challenge Against Clemson

00:11:07
Speaker
All right, so let's run down some of these other games that we've got going on Saturday. 3.30 on ACC Network, you've got Troy traveling to take on a pissed-off Clemson team.
00:11:19
Speaker
Press F to pay respects. that's That's going to be tough. ah Troy... I'm literally pressing F as we speak.
00:11:30
Speaker
troy Troy did not look good against Nichols, to put it lightly. And again, now you're facing a Clemson team that is coming off of a loss to LSU.
00:11:41
Speaker
Over under three and a half points.
00:11:44
Speaker
From Troy? but That Troy scores. Do they get in the end zone? I say they score six. They kick two field goals. who Yeah, they're going to break something off late.
00:11:58
Speaker
We're talking like early fourth quarter. um Troy still has their starters in, but Clemson just brought in the third squad, not second, because the second squad's been in for a quarter and a half already.
00:12:10
Speaker
So we're bringing in number threes, and Troy breaks one off late. Matt, the reason I said two field goals, too, I don't know if you remember this from last year. When Troy played Memphis, there was a ah series late where they were down, I think, like 17, 21 points, something around there, three scores.
00:12:27
Speaker
And it was like fourth and goal from the two. And they were like, let's just kick a field goal. So it turned a two score game into or a three score game into ah a two score game, but just only barely.
00:12:40
Speaker
ah So yeah, ah Troy is not the bravest a team that you'll ever see going forward on fourth down and such. So I think this one's going to tough. Clemson, these lines are early.
00:12:53
Speaker
Clemson's already a 31 and a half point favorite. I think I'd like... It's going to be so bad. Yeah, I think I like Clemson's ah ah spread on that side. ah Another 330 kick, you've got a team called Lindenwood traveling to take on App State.
00:13:09
Speaker
App State looked good ah in week one against Charlotte. Let's see if they can just keep that momentum up. AJ Swan, keep rolling. Dobinion, Barnes, all of those guys.
00:13:22
Speaker
The Lindenwood Lions... Or a private university located in St. Charles, Missouri. ah The school was originally founded as the Lindenwood School for Girls.
00:13:36
Speaker
And the second oldest higher institution, higher ed institution west of the Mississippi. Congratulations. App State's rolls them. App State looks really good. Dowell Loggins looks really good.
00:13:47
Speaker
um And I don't know if Lyndon Wood is still an all-girls school, um but if so, that doesn't bode well for them. ah Wouldn't that be something there? It's fair.
00:13:59
Speaker
ah All right. 330 kick. We already talked about Texas UTSA. We can skip over that one. Five o'clock. This one's going to be interesting, but for negative reasons for the Sun Belt, Arkansas State is traveling to Fayetteville to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks.
00:14:14
Speaker
ah They're going to get a face full of the Taylin Green experience who threw what six touchdowns last Saturday. He's nasty. And Arkansas State, notably, doesn't have a defense.
00:14:27
Speaker
So they gave up 24 to a school that, frankly, I've never heard of last Saturday. So not not the best way to start. ah You're going to get probably rolled by Sam Pittman and the boys.
00:14:40
Speaker
You've never heard of SEMO? That's so sad. No, I've never heard of Southeast Missouri. i Only in sex ed.
00:14:52
Speaker
What? Five o'clock. Jackson State traveling to Southern Miss. ah We were told to watch out for this game. we We were told, Matt, I don't know if you remember this.
00:15:04
Speaker
ah A Jackson State fan jumped in our our comment section during i remember the review of Southern Miss and was like, you guys didn't break down Jackson State's roster enough for my liking. Okay, well, let's see it.
00:15:17
Speaker
because We don't talk about Jackson State. Correct. so Also, I guess Miller, the running back for them, is somebody you have to be aware of. He ran for 172 on carries ah in their game last week and two touchdowns. so Very, very, very impressive. Great numbers.
00:15:34
Speaker
I don't know that it's going to matter much against Braylon Braxton and and Southern Miss and Charleston. It won't. Again, a team that that was tied at halftime with an SEC school is now taking on ah an FCS team.
00:15:47
Speaker
so I'm so happy for Jackson State that beat Hampton on on Saturday. Who the hell is Hampton?
00:15:55
Speaker
Hey, it's Sanders men. We rise. Not anymore. That's what they said. Do you see that? No? and All right. ah Moving on. I don't know what you're talking about.
00:16:05
Speaker
ah Six o'clock kick ESPN plus you've got new call up. Missouri state is traveling to the Joan ah to take on a Marshall team that seems to be pulling names out of a hat as to who's going to start at quarterback.
00:16:25
Speaker
Wow. Really? not ah No. oh Okay. Okay. Well, okay, the the really funny thing was one of the things I intimated to Zeke in our preview of Marshall was if this season gets out of hand, maybe put the freshman Ja'Kai Long in at quarterback and just let him kind of grow in the system and let him play like throughout the season. and And then they threw him out there...
00:16:49
Speaker
snap one against Georgia and then it was like oh so again I said this on the last episode if it's not Zion Turner starting and I'm a Marshall fan I'm gonna be I'm gonna be hot I'm gonna be upset so this man's intimating to other men
00:17:08
Speaker
Another six o'clock kick. North Carolina Central is traveling to Norfolk to take on Old Dominion. ah North Carolina Central ah has played two games thus far.
00:17:21
Speaker
ah
00:17:24
Speaker
I don't know all of their stats other than quarterback rushes ah right now dwarfs old dominions Colton Joseph through three interceptions and for less than a hundred yards last Saturday.
00:17:36
Speaker
yeah So hopefully somebody else can join the ah party and help him out.
00:17:45
Speaker
Enjoy old dominion. These ah it's going to be few and far between man. Yeah, these these days are these days are numbered. um Enjoy Colton Joseph while you have them because when you go back to Hayden Wisnowski, you're going be 2-10 again. So go Monarchs.
00:18:09
Speaker
Uh, seven o'clock kick here.

Georgia State's Defensive Woes

00:18:11
Speaker
Zeke, this is, uh, your team. Memphis is, uh, traveling to Georgia state. They're actually playing at center park stadium. Good for them. Center park, baby.
00:18:21
Speaker
Formerly known as Turner field. Uh, unfortunately i think they're going to have, uh, a real time trying to, uh, contain this Brendan Lewis for the tigers.
00:18:32
Speaker
Uh, You said it on the on the recap. Give us the two-minute little or a minute little spiel on the defensive side of the ball for Georgia State. Where where you sit right there?
00:18:43
Speaker
I mean, it was wet paper towel last week, especially through the air. Again, it's against Ole Miss, so you have to kind of t understand that there's a multiplier going on here. um But this was a Georgia State defense that was pretty good last year.
00:18:57
Speaker
Of the things that there were to complain about ah last season, defense was low on that list. Um, but they, they just got shredded. So I expect a lot. I mean, Memphis just walked ah FCS Chattanooga.
00:19:11
Speaker
Uh, and this is only like a half step above that. So, uh, again, tempered expectations. Fair. Uh, we talked about Tulane and South Al that games at seven on ESPN plus, uh,
00:19:28
Speaker
or do Sorry, did we did we break that game down? Was that somebody's game? I can't remember. Yeah, that was my game. Okay, all right. I just wanted to be sure. 7.30, I talked about this for like three seconds.
00:19:39
Speaker
ah Georgia Southern is going to get their brains stomped in by ah USC. ah The line on that one is already 27.5. If you like free money. No, don't say that. No, no, no, no, no. no You didn't watch that game on Saturday. know. You did not watch that game on Saturday. very hyper-conscious of the vocabulary we use.
00:20:03
Speaker
if you If you would like a bet that is probably going to hit more often than not, USC minus 27.5 is looking looking sweet. 7.30 kick, ah you've got Charleston Southern, Jamie Chadwell's old stomping grounds, traveling to his other former team, ah Coastal Carolina.
00:20:25
Speaker
ah So that's the only reason that game's interesting at all is two former Jamie Chadwell schools. ah Maybe MJ Morris shows you a sign of life that, that he Jamie Chadwell bowl.
00:20:37
Speaker
Yeah, basically. Uh, This next one, interesting, Matt, I wanted to stop on this one. I don't want to talk about it. want to talk about it. want to talk about the history behind this game. So in 2007... Oh, no, no, no, no. When Nick Saban took the Alabama job, their first game was against UL Monroe, which they then lost.
00:21:02
Speaker
And that sort of put Alabama on the the war path for the next decade plus Guess who's playing on Saturday? UL Monroe traveling to Tuscaloosa to take on a Alabama team that is licking its wounds after getting embarrassed by Florida State.
00:21:22
Speaker
ah yeah Well, that's better. I thought you were picking it. i thought you were about to talk about a different game. um No. So ULM and Alabama, that's interesting. Because, yeah like you said, you brought up the history.
00:21:35
Speaker
And what i' what I'm curious about is, so you just had a bad loss to Florida State. Now, Florida State looked great, right?
00:21:47
Speaker
um They might be back.
00:21:51
Speaker
They might be back. um So we'll see just how bad of a loss that turns out to be as the season goes on. um But, you know, by by happenstance, if ULM were to repeat history and go to Tuscaloosa and get a win,
00:22:10
Speaker
Is our for sale signs getting put in the DeBoer residence? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Is that is that done? Is that it? They're they're already thinking about it after the Florida State game on Saturday. And frankly, like when I was watching that, I had watched Castellanos play at BC the year before. He's nasty.
00:22:30
Speaker
And I was like, if it's not for his height, he's kind of slumming it at BC. Like he's better than this school. And like he and Bill O'Brien like butted heads. So he like peaced out.
00:22:42
Speaker
I thought all along, I was like, if Castellanos is three inches taller, we're not having really a conversation about where he's he's one of the best quarterbacks in the country. Right. He's starting at a Ole Miss or a LSU or like one of these places where it's like, cause the dude can straight up ball.
00:22:59
Speaker
ah Now, Ty Simpson didn't show me a lot on Saturday. I've never bought the Dyson's and hype anyway. So was there height?
00:23:10
Speaker
Well, he was one of the highest rated recruits out of his class. So was Arch Manning. Did you like what you saw on Saturday? oh like i saw I saw the video. Do you remember the old commercial Peyton Manning did?
00:23:25
Speaker
Yeah. Shut up, kid. You suck. He said Dayton to Arch, and i was like, oh, no. I'm just saying like the, every year we get a handful of these five star guys that never DJ you another guy where you're like, what, what the hell happened to him?
00:23:43
Speaker
Like, where is Like right now? Yeah. It's going interesting. Like you said, the, the, I think the for sale signs are, i think his house is going to be listed on Zillow by the end of the game. If that happens, like it's, it's going be worse than the for sale signs. Like he's going to have to like find employment elsewhere. Michael Penix made that guy so much money.
00:24:09
Speaker
And Roma Dunze and and ah McMillan. Yeah. and what What was that linebacker? They had that really good linebacker. Carson Bruner, Carson Bruckner, something like that.
00:24:22
Speaker
ah Really good linebacker on the defensive side. But anyways. So we'll see if you all Monroe can pull that off. I mean, my, the odds are on no, but you know, it's, it's, it's out there. There's historical precedence for it. We'll, we'll see how that all goes.
00:24:39
Speaker
Uh, last game of the night, eight o'clock ESPN.

UL Lafayette's Quest for Consistency

00:24:43
Speaker
McNeese is coming to traveling to Lafayette to take on the Cajuns. Uh, McNeese's quarterback through for three 29 and three touchdowns in their previous win.
00:24:54
Speaker
uh, Matt, like give me like a legit, like what you guys are playing down to an opponent. In theory, you were playing G5 versus G5 ball against Rice.
00:25:07
Speaker
Now you should have won that game, you know, based on everything that was going on around it. What do you need to see out of Walker Howard and that receiver that you said caught like a third of his targets on Saturday?
00:25:20
Speaker
At this point in time, I would like to invoke my Fifth Amendment right pursuant to the United States Constitution.
00:25:27
Speaker
no that bad you don't even You don't even have anything that you want to see out of him. You're like, I'm good. I just need to see consistency. i need to see i need to see consistency and then the confidence that comes with consistency. right like Talking about Shelton Sampson who caught four passes on 12 targets, just saying it hurts.
00:25:50
Speaker
but um
00:25:53
Speaker
He looked lost. And to be honest, Walker didn't look much better. And, you know, I know it's a new system and and all of that, but guys, you transferred in in March.
00:26:05
Speaker
You five months.
00:26:09
Speaker
Like, ah I just... What we saw out of Walker Howard was not a matter of poor scheme fit or not enough time in this offense. It was a matter of this guy has never played college football before. um And as Brian said, we were all way too high on a guy who, despite, as Brian notably tooted his horn about...
00:26:32
Speaker
falls into an archetype that has not been successful in recent years, looking specifically at Tate Rodemacher as that example. This was not a... There's other guys that have fallen right into that yeah as well. Yeah.
00:26:45
Speaker
Yeah, I think it just comes down to to consistency as an offense as a whole. um and And it starts with Walker Howard. you know Find find a rhythm, find a a comfortability, and let the offense flow through that, right?
00:27:01
Speaker
um They should beat McNeese. I don't know that I'm necessarily... don't want to use the word worried that they won't beat McNeese.
00:27:14
Speaker
um I am cautiously optimistic about this game with McNeese. um Because UL has lost to McNeese before. This would not be the first time it's happened.
00:27:26
Speaker
um You said the year 2007, and it really brought back memories. um Because 2007, 2008, somewhere in there, that was the that was the year that McNeese came to Lafayette and beat UL.
00:27:39
Speaker
Yeah. I think that the reaction to this one would be much, much worse. and And you asked Cajun fans about that night in 2007 or 2008, whatever year was.
00:27:52
Speaker
And that 17 years later, that still brings up some bad memories. And if it happened again, I think this time it would be much, much worse. I have a question real quick before before we kind of, because we don't have anything else to talk about. We've run through all these games.
00:28:08
Speaker
Matt, what is what's your concern level with Desermo if he comes out and the the offense looks like it did against Rice?
00:28:25
Speaker
Probably a five.
00:28:28
Speaker
I mean, i'm not I'm not calling for the guy's job because, you know, you just had a 10-win season. But I'm kind of sitting there, you know, wanting an explanation as to what the hell is going on.
00:28:41
Speaker
You know, um I think that that would be fair because... If the offense looks as bad as it did against Rice and McNeese looks as cohesive as it did mean against D3 school, but and just as you know solidified as it did, um it it could be a problem.

And so um I think it would be a real conversation about outside of the guys on the field, what changed from last year to this year.
00:29:19
Speaker
Like what, because because even schematically, like the play calling was different last night. the The play calling was much, and and of course, you know you're going to call plays based on your personnel.
00:29:31
Speaker
You're going to call plays based on you know what your quarterback strength is and what your receiver strengths are. like that That's part of it, right? um but But the play calling looks super conservative. It looks super scared.
00:29:46
Speaker
And i would I would question why. Because you clearly have guys that have talent. um so So what's the problem?
00:29:57

Maybe he went on an Aaron Rodgers-style, ayahuasca-infused personal journey ah and magically got worse at his respective job the way Aaron Rodgers did.
00:30:09
Speaker
Don't do that again. if that's what happened, don't do that again. Brian Madden needs to ban ayahuasca trips on the company credit card. Just no, don't let him do it.
00:30:21
Speaker
All right. So as we, as we sort of wrap up here, Zeke, do you have any thoughts on any, maybe any of the other games that we discussed? And if not, go ahead and plug social stuff.
00:30:38
Speaker
You are muted, Mr. Palermo. Oops. um Yeah, I got nothing else. ah These early season games, like non-conference, FCS, or SEC games, are either super, super telling ah in the case of Troy, in the case of UL, or not telling of anything at all because it's what we already knew.
00:30:58
Speaker
Georgia State, um James Madison to a degree. So, ah you know, it's always fun because it's a little easier for us as guys that are trying to keep a thumb on it because again, not everything means something.
00:31:13
Speaker
um You can find me on Twitter at Zeke Palermo, Z-E-K-E-P-A-L-E-R-M-O. Matt? You can find me on socials at Miguez, Matt, capital M's on both of those.

Yeah, and you know back to the grind. Hopefully that UL can turn some things around. Hopefully a couple of teams in the Sun Belt can turn some things around as well because it was a disappointing start for the conference as a whole and ah in Week 1.
00:31:42
Speaker
Certainly. ah Looks a little top-heavy for my taste. ah Starting out, it looks like it's kind of just JMU-ish. Maybe if you want to throw an app in there prematurely, but the rest, it just kind of looks like the field and everybody else.
