DailySaintsPod: Hello, and once again, welcome back to the Daily Saints pod. My name is Greg, still adjusting to English heat, as you can tell, donning a jumper now. uh As always, today joined by my good friend and wonderful co -host, Zach. Mate, how you doing?
Zak: Yeah, I'm going to say bye -bye. It's a... you know, you just... still regaling in our 4 -1 victory and now moving on to another game almost immediately. So...
DailySaintsPod: Yeah. Not going to be an easy game either. I mean if you looked at form and table placement and everything coming into this three -game block.
DailySaintsPod: you maybe argue that this game the hardest of the three. Right?
Zak: Yeah, although again, like our draws with both Bolton and Lincoln will say otherwise, right?
DailySaintsPod: Mm.
Zak: and the fact that Wuss. What is it? that we tend to step up against tougher opposition is another thing. And also the fact that, you know, they're probably going to play football and not sit back and that will give us a bit of a fighting chance.
Zak: but They were an opponent that we... We labored. to win against last season. uh at home if you remember rightly well that was where we were three nil up and then they fought back and then three two so we we barely won and then obviously you managed to draw
DailySaintsPod: We really struggled against them, I do remember.
DailySaintsPod: Hmm.
DailySaintsPod: scrape the drawer.
Zak: Yeah, like scrape it like a last -minute equalizer.
DailySaintsPod: It was a dozies cross into laryn right in front of me. I remember it vividly. The benefits of being there.
Zak: Yeah, so there you go. And then that but that was basically, you know, wasn't easy. Right, and Tonda's talked about their their rise in form and our our former assistant, Matt Gill.
Zak: It's there now. Used to be of of... Russell Martin assistant fame. who's now moved on so there's like a lot of things you know tweaks and here and there But they they seem to be a team that's back into the ascendancy.
Zak: as opposed to, you know, last season where they were really struggling.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah, which is
DailySaintsPod: It's a bit surprising Even for me as someone who is, you know, as we mentioned before, our family, brother -in -law is a Bacchus fan. So they're, you know, somewhat close in my psyche. but you know Coming into the season, obviously... sticking with morrison who was bought in halfway through last season after they had Or was it the...
DailySaintsPod: The one that people described as was basically a PE teacher, the rather unfortunate American coach. Eric? Eric someone?
Zak: Oh, mate, if I was to pretend I knew, I would be lying to both you and the audience.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
DailySaintsPod: But, Although, I think... Their current form is definitely exceeding their expectations come into the season. they had you know quite an amount of turnover in the summer player wise and and did strengthening a couple of areas but you know pushing on towards those bottom playoff places.
DailySaintsPod: what's up probably about the ambition of where they were at. based off of you know, their struggle last season, but... You know. Good run of form at the moment. uh above us in the table. Right, so...
Zak: Yeah, and everyone's there on merit, remember that.
DailySaintsPod: is just Doing good. Oh.
Zak: You have to...
DailySaintsPod: Exactly.
Zak: You have to win those games to to get those points. It was Eric Ramsey who you're thinking of, mate. He he was the one that, like...
DailySaintsPod: That was it
Zak: had a start at Manchester United. Did really well at Minnesota United in the MLS.
DailySaintsPod: Hmm.
Zak: some somehow we got the West Brom job didn't end well for him So, yeah, it was it was him.
DailySaintsPod: Hmm.
Zak: But yeah. Like, again, you have to treat. regardless of the fact that like it's like with qpr right I kind of had a gut feeling we'd probably do well against them. As I said, I was quite conservative in my my score prediction.
Zak: but That's because they'd just beaten Swansea 5 -0. And regardless of whether or not... you know, uh we we look at that and go well we should still probably beat them You need to treat the teams that we come across with merit.
Zak: as i pointed out but the point is is that
DailySaintsPod: Yeah. Well, that's the the benefit of the league, right? is the It's a league where on its day any team can genuinely beat any team.
Zak: Yeah, we've drawn...
DailySaintsPod: And these teams that are up the top and around us are... are proper challenging games. However... As lofty as our ambitions are, and we talked yesterday about how really it's...
DailySaintsPod: automatics please for us to save the the pain and agony of the playoffs It's the games we need to continue to put away and and get results from. and you know it is a tough place to go the the highest.
DailySaintsPod: stadium in the country. Did you know that? That's a nice little random fact that I picked up.
Zak: I did not know that
DailySaintsPod: Yeah, the... the highest altitude stadium in the country somehow. Uh,
Zak: Sure.
DailySaintsPod: I don't know. but I don't know if that makes any difference to anyone.
Zak: It's not like the Azteca, mate, is it? you know
DailySaintsPod: see No, right? Like... frankly, the the fact that it's in the heart of West Brom and Birmingham probably has a more effect on your lungs than the altitude, but it's...
Zak: Yeah.
DailySaintsPod: it's It's still a fact, you know.
Zak: Look.
DailySaintsPod: and yeah it's
Zak: Okay. St Mary's is our home stadium. but having to walk through that industrial estate for as many times as we have in the past probably also done a number to most of those people's lungs right especially after that game where like you know it almost burned down
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
DailySaintsPod: Mmm.
Zak: But, yeah, no, I think that, yeah as you pointed out, it's... yeah on on its day in the championship any team can beat anyone And we don't necessarily have that much history on our side. like Yeah, they were the team that we beat famously at home.
Zak: to get to the playoff final. And that was an absolutely fantastic cracking game. However, like very different West Brom side at this point. They seem to have a striker that goes away, even if he was. formerly one of our strikers way back when.
Zak: they have you know that they putting something good together for this season. And I think that their team, you know their fans will be expecting at this point, putting behind... the disappointment of last season than to at least get back into playoff places, especially with the fact that playoff places have expanded since then, right?
DailySaintsPod: Hmm. Yeah, very much so. But you're right, like a spotty history against them. the The data set I've got goes back as far as I think 2017. 21 matches, 5 wins for West Brom, 4 draws and 12 wins for us, which does skew it in our favour, but actually a lot of those wins for us come at St Mary's.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah. not Not an easy ground to go to to expect a result. and
Zak: Well no, we didn't win and win andt when last time. We we drew.
DailySaintsPod: Night.
Zak: So, you know, just got to take it with.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: take it with what we expect to get from them right we need to go in expecting hoping for the best expecting the worst but i'd still like to think that the worst at this point would be a draw but we've also by does it also depend on what kit we're wearing though greg is that That will also factor into it.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah, absolutely. Apparently so. That is clearly the key component. I mean, I don't know. West Brom's home kit is like... white with blue stripes, which... I mean, to my admittedly fairly colourblind eyes means that it clashes with all three of our kits, no?
DailySaintsPod: Like, I don't know.
Zak: Yeah, maybe maybe though maybe. I don't know if we'll be playing in our proper away kit, put it that way, just because of the blue.
DailySaintsPod: m
Zak: Maybe we play. Red and white, maybe we play.
DailySaintsPod: i mean Maybe that's the factor. i mean At this point, if we... If we... Do play in our blue kit and don't win. Uh, i mean we have to start having conversations about uh causation and correlation Right.
Zak: it Yeah, it's it's it start it starts to add into the the conspiracy theory that that's the reason we keep losing, which admittedly is a conspiracy theory and hilarious at the same time.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: But... you know sometimes you can you can kind of will these things into existence right if everyone's like well it's the kit isn't it what if the what if a player reads that and where players wearing it they're like oh we do worse than this kit and then slightly play worse this is why this is why the human mind is both fascinating and terrifying at the same time uh but i don't think it's necessarily going to have a factor whether we win or not
DailySaintsPod: Yeah. Well, look, I'll tell you for free that I will be wearing my blue kit as we travel up. uh, to- Tomorrow. uh time of recording uh Just always a fun little mad dash our kind of annual trip to to the Hawthorns. I obviously alluded to brother -in -law and formerly my father -in -law being and a
DailySaintsPod: West Brom fans, so they travel up with us and then we go our separate ways into him into the home end and us into the away end, which is always nice. and uh It's nice. Pick the kids up from school and then... pray for no traffic on the way up is...
DailySaintsPod: It's the strategy right?
Zak: yeah it's not it's not easy right like it's got to be a bit of a struggle
DailySaintsPod: It would be just be really nice if they'd stop putting it midweek because doing it... with extra time allowed on the weekend. would be a much much better experience. but
Zak: Yeah, but this this adds to it, mate. It adds to the experience.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: You've got to think of the people that go to away games up and down the country all the time have got to deal with the midweeks all the time, right? Because that that's the reality, unfortunately, of of following English football.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: and especially Championship football.
DailySaintsPod: Fair play to the people that do that. I'm...
Zak: fair Fair play from both like a monetary perspective and also just finding the sheer time and will, right?
DailySaintsPod: An energy, yeah.
Zak: uh
DailySaintsPod: Right?
Zak: Yeah, it's nuts.
DailySaintsPod: Like, there were periods... I mean, like, there were... periods of time in recent memory where dragging myself to St Mary's became a burden. I can't imagine doing that. the other like hundreds of miles that you travel around.
Zak: Yeah especially when we used to lose every game as well.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah, I mean, sure, maybe it's slightly additional burden because... I like to bring the kids with me and that in itself adds logistical headaches. but Wow, just, just... Sorry.
DailySaintsPod: But, look, we like our... our west brom away day we've got our parking space that we regularly park in now and go and uh Have a nice little wander down to the stadium. It's nice. What is nice is that... like Although...
DailySaintsPod: You know, we talk about the different rivalries and the championship we've got. I don't think there's... Like a huge amount of malice between West Brom. and saints to be honest every All of the people I meet up there when we go up there are just... really nice people who...
DailySaintsPod: who, like, you know, give a good bit of banter in the stadium with the chants, as is the standard. but Awesome. It's just nice isn't it? Football's great when people get along but enjoy the the back and forward of the... of the pattern. It's all good fun.
Zak: It's when it's banter, right? Like, I don't want to get...
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: too much into that on this podcast but like sometimes i think people do take it to the extremes and
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah, of course they do.
Zak: it's that that's as i yeah i think online space gets to the worst of it.
DailySaintsPod: Uh...
Zak: Don't get me wrong. But you know.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: Uh... just just relevant to a few things i've seen this weekend that was all
DailySaintsPod: Oh yeah, for sure. And you know, like... Telling another club who have been in trouble for fielding eligible players. Hope you double -checked this team sheet, lads. That's funny. That's in good spirits, right?
Zak: Well, yeah, but that's like us finding the Firefox thing funny, right? And a lot of other people not.
DailySaintsPod: I thought it was hilarious yeah
Zak: Yeah, and I get i get that. But that that's banter. It's when it becomes genuinely abusive. And then you get the lines that are blurred, like with this whole Jamie Carragher, Aston Villa thing, where...
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: you're you're trying to trying to basically sue someone for defamation. Boom. Telling the truth like... I don't know. that's that That's a whole other argument to get into, right? but uh yeah it's i i think that you're right like there is is a ultimately uniting force, right? And it is one of the things where I am happy and glad to be into sport.
Zak: And it's not something that a lot of people assume I'm into. And it immediately creates common ground for a lot of people. And football creates the ultimate common ground.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: I still remember visiting one of my wife's friends years ago. and uh He had the football on. she She was chatting away to her friend. Never met the bloke before.
Zak: And I was like, So you support that Liverpool? And he's like, yeah. And that was great because if we just sat there. talking about Liverpool for the whole time. I think it was like Liverpool versus Wolves many, many moons ago. But like it's just it's just a nice...
Zak: place to create common ground. And I'm glad that you get to enjoy that side of it. and that you have that connection to another club, you know. that you don't support But you know you have this kind of yearly ritual where you go.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: and you will have a nice time.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah, it's great. And my wife comes along too, obviously, who is... you know, famously a football widow to to me and with the kids, really, of course, no choice. But, I mean, it was a fate that she was born into. Her dad was...
DailySaintsPod: If anything, more football mad than me. So... Just... She knew what she was getting herself into, but she travels up with us as well and goes and sits with my brother -in -law in the West Brom end.
DailySaintsPod: phice It's nice to have that. And like I say, all the people are great. And the only criticism of anything to do with the away day. at the Hawthorns is that... In the warm -ups, West Brom have these like nets.
DailySaintsPod: Like we have at St Mary's, but theirs are only as high as the goal. And having watched both Southampton players and West Brom players do shooting practice in these warm -ups, those nets do need to be higher. Uh...
DailySaintsPod: There's a real risk of being caught by a flying and football with at least those particular teams playing. But arguably... lots of different teams in the championship. But but i'm always good. Always an enjoyable day out.
DailySaintsPod: If slightly chaotic. But that's what we love. That's why we love it. All right, let's get into the the predicted lineups and the fun stuff.
DailySaintsPod: How much rotation are we expecting to see coming into this, right? An expectation is perhaps that this isn't the game we'd rotate for and maybe... Preston at the weekend might be.
DailySaintsPod: but
Zak: I don't know, you because...
DailySaintsPod: Okay. Back five.
DailySaintsPod: Unchanged surely.
Zak: Yeah, that's that's not going to change, although Wellington scoring a goal within three minutes of coming on. probably raises his stock a little bit more. But I'd expect to see Manning still start.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: just Maybe he comes off earlier than he did on Saturday. I don't really see the need to change anyone else if they're all fit enough to play they should play Simple as that.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah. Short segment then there, mate. It's not a lot of...
Zak: Well, that's that's a short for the back. the The middle is a bit different.
DailySaintsPod: yeah
Zak: Obviously, we don't know what's going on with Yanda. there He was, from looking at the, we've both seen the the press conference, right?
DailySaintsPod: Hmm.
Zak: There was no real news about him. There was obviously questions about Cole Aaron. There was questions about... Flynn Downs and the answer of whether or not Flynn Downs is going to come back into the squad was yes so who does he replace does he replace Cam Bragg or does he replace you know James Ward -Prowse.
Zak: And I have a feeling that maybe he replaces Cam Bragg because you know James Ward -Prowse has essentially set him up to almost be undroppable. But then Bragg had a really, really strong... games, so...
DailySaintsPod: Bye. Bragg did enough to write to make that question, didn't he?
Zak: Yeah.
Zak: hundred percent
DailySaintsPod: I think that... Uh... I mean, it's a cop out to say it, but I'm happy with any combination. Genuinely, there's not a name In that.
DailySaintsPod: in the mix of that lineup that you could put. in combination with those two together that I would be concerned about. Maybe heading into the the weekend we've just had.
DailySaintsPod: I might have thought that the combination of Prowse and Bragg may have been a little bit lightweight, not quite physical enough to contend in there. And I might have had concerns, but actually having seen it.
DailySaintsPod: A lot of those concerns... are have kind of dissipated, not which is not to say that actually against a quite physical West Brom side, we might struggle in the middle of the park with that combination.
DailySaintsPod: And so maybe that is the justification to bring Flynn Downs back in. But...
Zak: Yeah.
DailySaintsPod: I don't know. Honestly... Who do you drop from that? It's not a choice I'd like to make. Uh... that's for sure
Zak: No, and it will be up to the coaching staff. But you're right. I still think that the fact that he said Darren's is going to be back in and will be available, that it probably means he will be.
DailySaintsPod: Mm.
Zak: And if he isn't... That is the last time I trust a press conference ever. that I am putting all of my trust into press conferences down to this one decision, right?
DailySaintsPod: Hmm.
Zak: Because so far they've all just been lies.
DailySaintsPod: Can't wait for him to not even make the match day squad.
Zak: lies. Yeah, exactly.
Zak: Lies upon lies. And obviously we've heard more about...
Zak: larry as well which has been
DailySaintsPod: I mean... I mean look, I could... James Will Prowse has played a lot of minutes. And it's very easy to slip straight back into remembering that James Ward -Prowse played every minute of a Premier League season and is an absolute machine.
DailySaintsPod: But you've also got to remember that James Earl Prowse is 31 now, so... despite how dependable he has been and how much of an engine he clearly has. Maybe...
DailySaintsPod: Maybe. Bring them downs in for him. is... is the the path that's taken here. Right. like
Zak: i'd be I'd be surprised, mate. This isn't a Cristiano Ronaldo 42, bring him out to pasture. This is a
DailySaintsPod: I'm not saying it is.
Zak: He's just had a birthday.
DailySaintsPod: But...
Zak: I think he's fine. He's been doing fine. I wouldn't be surprised if...
DailySaintsPod: Yeah. look I also have no concerns, but also it's a lot of games and a lot of minutes from someone who, despite being a consummate professional and clearly keeping up his fitness.
Zak: Brad comes on from him later.
DailySaintsPod: hasn't played that many minutes in the past two seasons. And... and You know... Like I say, I don't have Real concerns, but... if you're going to look at who you're taking out of that equation and trying to pinpoint that thing that's one of those things that especially our medical team tend to be pretty hot on my uh TSP had a whole discussion. about...
DailySaintsPod: uh how Tonda last season praised... our medical team for the level of squad availability that we do have.
Zak: Hmm?
DailySaintsPod: And you're right, you look at most teams and a lot of the time they tend to have... five, six, seven players out injured, whereas realistically we... tend to keep it down to two or three right through this careful management of minutes and whatever else we do with the players to keep it that way And...
DailySaintsPod: you know it's It's hard because of how good he's been. and how many minutes he has clearly got in the tank. to see that happen. But I just think that if it's coming down to the nitty gritty, maybe...
DailySaintsPod: You just give him a rest on a Tuesday and let him play only the two games in seven days, right? I could see, especially with the performance that Bragg put in. it makes it a bit easier to make that decision or to justify that decision.
Zak: Well, I guess we just have to see, I guess.
DailySaintsPod: Hmm.
DailySaintsPod: But again... Any combination of those three names. not gonna get a moan from me so It's kind of a win -win. uh there it's nice to have that depth and that concern
Zak: okay
DailySaintsPod: And then I guess moving up the pitch, we heard that Larin... probably isn't going to be in contention until after the international break from this press conference. So he'll probably start.
DailySaintsPod: No. Judging on... how much we have faith in press conferences. No, I just... If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Just stick with it. If if all of the players are fit to start...
DailySaintsPod: Stop. Matt Skees made that role on the right. his own completely. and popped up with goals and solidifies it.
Zak: Correct?
DailySaintsPod: Had those two chances, one of which he scored very early on. both of which were caused... in not insignificant ways by the movement of Lewis Dobbin, who is dragging... Two defenders with him to create that space for Matsky to drop into. so You know, he also scored recently and Probably could have had two in two, if not for some...
DailySaintsPod: questionable officiating so just don't change up. You play Azaz, you play Sienza, you play Dobbin. Play Matt Skea. And if minutes are a concern... You just change it earlier in the game.
DailySaintsPod: right this is probably one of the games where maybe we see A bit more of Mubama than three minutes.
Zak: Well, I'd like to think, but we've said that quite a few times, mate, to be honest. And if if Dobbin's playing well and, you know... close to scoring a goal. Technically had it in the back of the net.
DailySaintsPod: Hmm.
Zak: Last game, we talked about that. Yeah. carry it on and see see how it goes but
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: I'm not really too worried.
DailySaintsPod: But here's the crazy thing that I could say about... uh dubbing and this kind of like I don't know if I want to call it a nine. It's kind of like a false nine. position where it kind of drags the runs and creates it but also drops a bit deeper Maybe.
DailySaintsPod: You don't have to take Dobbin off to put Mubama on. Right? Maybe you take off. Max Guy, who tends to be a bit more central with his... wing.
DailySaintsPod: play anyway. And you just have the big, tall, supposed target man of Mubama playing along the speedy player who runs off of target men like Dobbin. and we get the that system that I mean, I feel like I've been banging that drum for since episode one of this podcast at this point. but it It could work, right? Like we saw a very similar setup for that Wellington goal.
DailySaintsPod: right? It was Mubama put through on goal. and whose rebounded shot was followed up by Wellington could very easily have been an Obama goal. He's got himself in that position. and created that chance.
DailySaintsPod: Why not?
Zak: Yeah. i i genuinely like I genuinely, for the first time in a long, long time, not really bothered by who we put out. I'm wet.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: And I think that that is...
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: That is an indictment of the... exceptional work. from you know
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: the squad to build the chemistry that they that they have.
DailySaintsPod: I think there's...
Zak: I'm not really...
DailySaintsPod: Comfortably 15, maybe 16 at a stretch players. Where... if you name 11 of them. Any 11 of that 15.
DailySaintsPod: No eyebrows are being raised.
Zak: No.
DailySaintsPod: Right, like...
Zak: the the only point i would like to make regarding you mate is i feel that years on years past its it's golden days, I think you're still just obsessed with 442.
DailySaintsPod: I mean if it if it ain't broke
Zak: You just want to see two strikers on the pitch. At the same time, one little and one big. That is it.
DailySaintsPod: Sometimes it works though, right? Like we've seen it.
Zak: Nope, yep, but also...
DailySaintsPod: I'll tell you...
Zak: Also, apparently, even when we don't have an out -and -out striker on the field, it still works. And in fact, you know...
DailySaintsPod: We just score goals.
Zak: We had two defenders score last game, mate.
DailySaintsPod: It just seems to be... Yeah, it just seems to be how it goes at the moment. We just seem to be... kind of in that zone as we saw towards the end of last season. It just doesn't really matter.
DailySaintsPod: What? tinkers or what changes tonda makes just everything seems to keep coming up saints and I'm here for it Long may it continue and very much in Tondal we trust. uh you're right He could.
DailySaintsPod: uh again at this point Uh... name the most ridiculous formation and put... The... like something really questionable. like Jack Stevens up front. And I'll take it.
DailySaintsPod: Like, I believe that there's a plan for that, and... Yeah. Sure, it like... Football genius, football madman, sure, but... <unk> It's hard not to feel positive vibes with this continued run that we seem to be on. and uh It's just good stuff, isn't it?
DailySaintsPod: Right. I alluded a bit to the the history of the fixture, but coming into the game... Uh... across all matches, very similar form for both teams.
DailySaintsPod: Uh... Two wins, two draws and a loss for the Baggies. Two wins, two draws and a loss for us. Just in different orders. They beat West Ham.
DailySaintsPod: At West Ham. Last time out. which Look, it shows the... Impressive fortitude of the team. right like I know that we went there and did that, but that was marked as an impressive win.
DailySaintsPod: And like a statement win.
Zak: Yeah.
DailySaintsPod: And West Brom have gone and done the same. So... It shows the quality of team we're coming up against and should put that into context for the game. The AI...
DailySaintsPod: Uh... You will be unsurprised to hear, mate, it's back in, both teams to score. It's backing over two and a half goals. It suggests... that the double chance of West Brom to win or a draw.
DailySaintsPod: is probably the safest bet of the game, so it's not rating our chances. but What about you? How do you think it plays out?
Zak: We struggled last time around, but I'd like to say that we're just it's a different season this season. And we're gunning and we're growing. I think it will be tough. I would like us to see it.
Zak: us edge with like a 2 -1 Win. is what I hope for as much as that's the the usual the usual boring scoreline. I do see them scoring. I don't think it's because we would struggle.
Zak: like we have previously. I just think that they're very good and they're very good at home.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: hopefully this time around it's it's you know that wonderful story where
DailySaintsPod: Peace.
Zak: It's 1 -0 and rather than us rescuing a point, we're rescuing a win. you know we score towards the end of the game. It'd be great for you to enjoy as well to see us win there.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah. for Yeah, I'd like a win. I... Who's scoring? Where are those calls coming from?
Zak: I don't know.
DailySaintsPod: I nearly forgot.
Zak: Probably Matsky again. Maybe get Dobbin to get another one.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: like actually you know. I felt bad for him last game. It was not really. his fault. the the position happened.
DailySaintsPod: Night.
Zak: So, yeah, I'd like to see Dobbin and Matsky score.
DailySaintsPod: let What do I think? Well, I'm going to go for I'm gonna go 1 -0 Which...
DailySaintsPod: Which is almost as crazy as any other prediction I've ever thrown out there.
Zak: Look forward to being massively stressed out about it.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah. An early goal as well, just like the most miserable 90 minutes.
Zak: Oh good.
DailySaintsPod: but but look I think... no I don't know I think 1 -0 I don't think we will score early I think it's going to be one of these games where it's very frustrating and We...
DailySaintsPod: probably create quite a few chances, but really struggle to put a few of them away. probably feels like it's not going to happen. And I kind of think that... We'll see Mubama come on.
DailySaintsPod: Either for Dobbin or not, I don't know. But I think we'll see him come on, and I think he'll get a solid 20 -25 minutes in this game, and I think he's going to get the winning goal.
DailySaintsPod: That's my prediction.
Zak: Okay.
DailySaintsPod: You don't seem convinced.
Zak: Interesting.
Zak: no we'll just have to see how it goes I think that I think we're going to struggle to keep a clean sheet that's all.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah? I don't know. Big Kev at the back. Jack Stephens. It's just solid, isn't it?
Zak: Yeah, but we're way.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah, but that's alright.
Zak: All right. the did the the Okay. I'm just playing. i I just want us to win ultimately. I don't really don't really care how.
DailySaintsPod: Yeah.
Zak: Another three points.
DailySaintsPod: You're right. And I mean, honestly... I mean, it's one of those things, right, where honestly, if you take it into perspective... with the form and the table position and all of the stuff. And the the team...
DailySaintsPod: you know playing qpr at the weekend being a tough game as well Not that it looked that way on on paper of the score sheet, but it was with the form coming in. So one of those things are if you take it in the entire perspective of...
DailySaintsPod: the three game block this seven day period you're probably happy with seven points overall But also... Happy with seven points overall.
