Evan (from Being Friends) and McKay (The Board Game Critic) go over some interesting aspects of down time in board games. 

Down time is basically the time between when you stop playing your turn and when you can start participating in the game again. Some games have virtually no down time and others have a little too much. So what is the sweet spot and how can you make the game enjoyable regardless of how much down time there is in a game?
