In one of my past lives, I used to build iOS apps for businesses. So when I casually saw that Apple would start taking other forms of in-app payment, I thought that that was super interesting. For like two decades, they've mandated their payment platform for game creators and app developers.

all over so you only could specifically use the Apple in-app purchases which was super annoying to work with and really hard to build on top of just speaking from personal experience. But now it seems like it's possible for you to pay with like Venmo or PayPal for in-app purchases. I'm not completely sure if that if that those specific platforms are true just yet because I haven't listened to the podcast but it is discussing it so I'm for sure checking it out.
