Hello. I know it’s been a while so maybe we should reintroduce ourselves. We are Triple Drain consisting of two awesome Pinball Enthusiasts named Joel and Tom. They love their friends, their families and their friendship. A few years ago they decided to start a podcast and felt like they needed a third host. BIG MISTAKE. Here comes Travis. He is special.

Now that we’ve reacquainted ourselves please enjoy this month’s episode where we try to catch up on everything pinball related we missed in the last 2 MONTHS. Triple Drain Pinball Podcast Episode 72 - This one is for Ralph!

We are back after over a month off (sorry guys!) and we’ve played a ton of pinball. Travis and Joel discuss Pinball at the Beach as well as their first experiences with Spooky Pinball’s Beetlejuice. Tom now owns a DUNE and he shared his current love of it. Travis and Tom have both played Pokemon by Stern Pinball and they had lots to say about that. We also chatted about Predator pinball, and Foo Fighters, and KISS and Winchester and a few others. We actually shoved a ton into this “shorter” episode and would have gone longer but Travis is a bum and had to work. Sorry for the delay and please enjoy!

Triple Drain Pinball Podcast Episode 70 - Elwin is back and he is dropping truth bombs!

Hosts: Joel Engelberth, Tom Graf and Travis Murie

Chicago Pinball Expo has come and gone and we had a blast! In this episode we discuss Tom’s newest game as well as our initial impressions of Winchester Mystery House. This leads into a discussion on what Barrels of Fun and Spooky are doing right and how 3D sculpts add to the feeling of quality within a pinball machine. Joel wants to talk code again so we dive into Star Wars Fall of the Empire and the challenges it presents on using all the provided assets but keeping the game simple enough to understand. Is it possible to make a modern day fan layout fun or do playfields have to be dynamic? We also discussed our thoughts on The Walking Dead Remake reveal. Honestly we talked about a bunch of different stuff and I hate writing these summaries so hopefully you ignore them entirely and just click play. Enjoy!
