Salman's LASIK Adventure

00:00:15
Speaker
Hey everyone, welcome back to the Expat Brad Podcast.
00:00:18
Speaker
It's Salman Qureshi.
00:00:19
Speaker
I hope you all are doing really well because I am.
00:00:23
Speaker
I am seeing things in a whole new way.
00:00:26
Speaker
And it's because I've done LASIK surgery, people.
00:00:29
Speaker
This is the all-new Salman Qureshi who can see things better.
00:00:33
Speaker
So this podcast can only get better from here onwards because I'm probably going to read...
00:00:38
Speaker
the facts more correctly now.
00:00:41
Speaker
Like, you know, no more mess ups, no more, you know, no more misquoting things, no more misreading facts and stats and whatnot.
00:00:50
Speaker
Now you can get the absolute truth on my podcast because I could see, I could see so much better now.
00:01:00
Speaker
but I don't know why I had to say it in that voice.
00:01:05
Speaker
How are you guys doing?
00:01:07
Speaker
As you can tell, I am.
00:01:09
Speaker
I really am.
00:01:09
Speaker
In my last podcast, I talked about getting my LASIK surgery finally done.
00:01:15
Speaker
And a week in, seven days, I just came back from my doctors and we checked the eyes and she said, you're doing great.
00:01:24
Speaker
like I put in some effort for my end or something.
00:01:27
Speaker
I really was just putting eye drops and making sure water doesn't go straight into my eyes.
00:01:32
Speaker
It was a lot of effort to have to wash my face with carefully like that.
00:01:37
Speaker
It was starting to get annoying, to be honest, because I just like I realized how much I like splashing water, how much I took it for granted that I could just scoop water and splash it on my face, just like, you know, just bathe in it or walk out.
00:01:52
Speaker
Like I really freaked out.
00:01:54
Speaker
yesterday, I was on my balcony, and we've had some cloud seating done in Dubai, so there's like, even today, there's heavy clouds, there's been rain all over the country, and well, some places, some parts of the country, and we had a little drizzle around my area, and I was standing in the balcony, and a drop just fell on my eyelash, and I freaked out, because I was told strictly, no water in your eyes, right, and I just walked in, and my wife is like, what's wrong, and I was
00:02:22
Speaker
like oh my god my whole lasik it's gone to waste because there's a the drop of water might have gone in my eye um i was probably shrieking particularly in that tone if i if you ask my wife um but there you go it was uh it didn't go in and my doctor said it's uh looking good so yeah i am i am feeling like a new man because i am
00:02:47
Speaker
Now, all I have to do is go and get my knees checked

MRI Comparisons and Knee Concerns

00:02:51
Speaker
again.
00:02:51
Speaker
I did an MRI and it was an that was an eye opener.
00:02:55
Speaker
No pun intended or maybe pun intended.
00:02:56
Speaker
I don't know.
00:02:58
Speaker
And it was crazy because I've done one MRI before this on my right knee about a year and a half ago.
00:03:05
Speaker
Right.
00:03:05
Speaker
And it was at a different hospital, which I just realized had.
00:03:10
Speaker
the state of the art stuff, okay?
00:03:13
Speaker
Because when I walked in, they gave me music to listen to on these ear pods and the whole ceiling was like lit up with some clouds and like a blue cloudy kind of wallpaper kind of thing on there, which was really pleasant to look.
00:03:31
Speaker
If you've been to the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai, then you know what I'm talking about.
00:03:35
Speaker
And so I had a pleasant time.
00:03:38
Speaker
for the 15, 20 minutes I was in there.
00:03:41
Speaker
Then I went to a different hospital for my MRI this time, and they weren't state-of-the-art.
00:03:49
Speaker
No.
00:03:50
Speaker
Safe to say, they weren't.
00:03:53
Speaker
It was a lot louder.
00:03:54
Speaker
They didn't give me music to listen to.
00:03:56
Speaker
They gave me these pods for the year.
00:03:58
Speaker
What do you call them?
00:04:00
Speaker
Clogs.
00:04:02
Speaker
to block out sound and it didn't it didn't do a good job those machines mri machines are super freaking loud i mean you would think when you develop a technology we could work on the sound stuff i mean i know everybody's talked about the microwave and whatnot and i'm just tired of it like someone's got to go hey listen listen we built some state-of-the-art tech how about that sound huh because the mri machine was loud and it has like different phases
00:04:31
Speaker
It's like a bad DJ beat.
00:04:33
Speaker
You know, it just first time it just goes.
00:04:36
Speaker
And then suddenly after a couple of minutes ago, and just you're just lying there going, I don't know what's going on.
00:04:45
Speaker
What is this machine doing to me?
00:04:49
Speaker
And so I did it.
00:04:50
Speaker
I got my results back for that, too.
00:04:52
Speaker
That's that's not so much of good news.
00:04:57
Speaker
From what I understood from the report, I have to go for a follow up with my orthopedic or the knee doctor.
00:05:07
Speaker
And and he's I don't think it'll be a happy thing because I was hoping it might not require surgery and it still might not.
00:05:15
Speaker
But it's starting to look like it's some serious stuff because there was like, you know, it's bad because the report had like five different things listed on it.
00:05:23
Speaker
I was looking like in three of them, I couldn't understand.
00:05:26
Speaker
Two of them just sounded very serious.
00:05:30
Speaker
I Googled some stuff and then I stopped Googling because I'm like, this is the worst thing I could do right now is Google some facts and think about how I'm going to just sort this out.
00:05:40
Speaker
Right.
00:05:40
Speaker
So I'm going to go find that out so I can see better, but I definitely cannot run better right now.
00:05:47
Speaker
But probably for the best man.
00:05:48
Speaker
I mean, you know, we're just going to have to do this.
00:05:50
Speaker
Give me a sec.
00:05:51
Speaker
I need now I need some water.
00:05:52
Speaker
Oh, by the way, this is a Dubai brand called Al Ain.
00:05:56
Speaker
Is it?
00:05:57
Speaker
Alain is a different city, so it's not a Dubai brand.
00:05:59
Speaker
It's a... I don't know.
00:06:03
Speaker
Why am I promoting these guys?
00:06:04
Speaker
They're not sponsoring me.
00:06:06
Speaker
They could.
00:06:06
Speaker
Hey, you know.
00:06:07
Speaker
Hey, Alain water.
00:06:10
Speaker
It comes in a nice plastic bottle.
00:06:12
Speaker
No different from any other water bottle that I know of at the same price.
00:06:17
Speaker
But it's the one I have right now with me.
00:06:21
Speaker
And if you are going to kill the environment with plastic bottles, why not this one, right?
00:06:26
Speaker
Yeah.
00:06:27
Speaker
I might have lost the sponsorship opportunity there.
00:06:31
Speaker
I got to work on that stuff a little bit.
00:06:33
Speaker
Anyway, what are we talking about today?
00:06:35
Speaker
I've just been going on about my own personal self and it's self-indulgent, I know.
00:06:40
Speaker
But I hope you guys can learn from me by going, if you're younger than me, then it's time to start taking care of your health because, hey, you don't want to end up like me having to go to a hospital to a doctor or
00:06:51
Speaker
10 different doctors for checking 10 different things.
00:06:54
Speaker
Okay.
00:06:54
Speaker
So, so just be careful.
00:06:56
Speaker
It's a big thing in my culture to not just ever care and check.
00:06:58
Speaker
So just go and do it.
00:06:59
Speaker
Okay.
00:07:00
Speaker
Um, and also, uh, yeah, yeah.
00:07:04
Speaker
And if you are my age and you're healthy, well, screw you, man.
00:07:06
Speaker
Like, uh, good, good on you for doing it.
00:07:09
Speaker
Something on my left knee MRI report, I can't remember the one thing it said, but I read up, I Googled it, and it said it normally happens to people when they put on weight.
00:07:24
Speaker
And so, yeah, they fat shamed me.
00:07:27
Speaker
The report fat shamed me, man.
00:07:29
Speaker
I think that's kind of unfair, don't you think?
00:07:33
Speaker
Maybe they should be nicer with their words about I'm already in pain with my knee.
00:07:39
Speaker
I don't know.
00:07:39
Speaker
Just thinking maybe they could do better.
00:07:42
Speaker
All right.
00:07:42
Speaker
Whatever.
00:07:43
Speaker
Whatever.
00:07:44
Speaker
Words don't hurt me.
00:07:45
Speaker
My knee does.
00:07:50
Speaker
You know, I'm getting all this stuff checked and I'm spending a little bit of money on myself, like just sorting

Economic Woes and Recession Humor

00:07:55
Speaker
myself out.
00:07:55
Speaker
But I am worried about this whole recession stuff, right?
00:07:59
Speaker
Everybody keeps talking about two things.
00:08:01
Speaker
Inflation, recession, inflation, recession.
00:08:03
Speaker
Like we are just obsessed with the fact that everything is more expensive and that the world's going to come to an end because that's what we think what every recession does.
00:08:12
Speaker
Didn't we have like one two years ago or something?
00:08:14
Speaker
I can't even keep up with these up and downs and
00:08:18
Speaker
Sometimes I feel like there's too much information easily available.
00:08:24
Speaker
If I wasn't smart and I hadn't studied, I hadn't done my master's and I didn't read the newspaper and stuff or I didn't have so much news on hand so easily, then maybe I wouldn't know a recession is happening or whatever.
00:08:35
Speaker
I just live happily instead of in dread.
00:08:37
Speaker
Right.
00:08:38
Speaker
That's the problem.
00:08:39
Speaker
We've been talking about this stupid recession coming for ages now, for the whole year, maybe, maybe since last year.
00:08:46
Speaker
I can't I don't know.
00:08:47
Speaker
Right.
00:08:47
Speaker
And I just feel like maybe we should just declare it.
00:08:50
Speaker
Let's just stop talking about it and just get over it by declaring it's a recession instead of going, well, you know, this sign.
00:08:57
Speaker
points to this and, you know, because of these GDP and economic circumstances and stats and I don't know, right?
00:09:06
Speaker
Whatever they're saying, I think it's time we just go shut up.
00:09:09
Speaker
It's a recession, everybody.
00:09:11
Speaker
Do what you got to do.
00:09:12
Speaker
Do whatever you do in a recession because that exactly is it.
00:09:17
Speaker
The more we keep talking about it, about the scary thing approaching, it's like a monster.
00:09:22
Speaker
It keeps getting bigger in my head and I start worrying about it more.
00:09:27
Speaker
probably act out more because of fear as opposed to just facing the thing and going, all right, the monster is here.
00:09:34
Speaker
It's through the door.
00:09:34
Speaker
It's a zombie.
00:09:37
Speaker
Pick up your gun.
00:09:38
Speaker
Let's hope we can shoot it in the head, right?
00:09:40
Speaker
Otherwise, you're just standing there going, I don't know which monster is coming through.
00:09:45
Speaker
Is it a vampire?
00:09:46
Speaker
Is it Frankenstein?
00:09:48
Speaker
Is it
00:09:49
Speaker
Is it another zombie?
00:09:51
Speaker
Right.
00:09:51
Speaker
So if I'm prepared, if I know what it is.
00:09:53
Speaker
So here it is, people.
00:09:54
Speaker
Officially, I don't care what any government is saying.
00:09:57
Speaker
I don't care what any expert is saying.
00:10:00
Speaker
It's a recession.
00:10:01
Speaker
All right.
00:10:01
Speaker
A comedian has called it.
00:10:03
Speaker
We are now officially I'm declaring recession from now.
00:10:07
Speaker
And so we can get over it.
00:10:09
Speaker
real quicker as well right so if we if we don't declare it the longer we take to declare it the longer it'll take us to sort it out and say okay now we're out of the recession um so if i call it now then hopefully by next year at some point we'll be over it if we delay this and we keep talking about it and the recession doesn't happen till like january 2023 then we're gonna have to go through the whole of next year
00:10:35
Speaker
waiting for this recession to get over right so think about what i just said uh jump onto the bandwagon just spread the word tell everyone we're not talking about this anymore we've declared salman qorashi has told me that's what you tell your friends and family salman christian when they ask who's that you just go just you don't need to know that all right just just make if you're confident enough they'll believe you okay just like how i am being confident right now
00:10:59
Speaker
And we declare, and Salman has said, we are in a recession right now, so there we go, done.
00:11:05
Speaker
Let's start acting like that and start working towards solving it.
00:11:09
Speaker
And the next year, you all will thank me because, I don't know, I guess not being in a recession is going to be more profitable for you unless you're Goldman Sachs.
00:11:19
Speaker
Then it doesn't matter.
00:11:20
Speaker
How do those guys do it, right?
00:11:22
Speaker
It doesn't matter what is going on in the world.
00:11:24
Speaker
Goldman Sachs is like, hey, we made another $10 billion.
00:11:26
Speaker
No.
00:11:29
Speaker
It's amazing.
00:11:31
Speaker
That's just crazy to me.
00:11:33
Speaker
They are either the smartest people in the world, which I don't believe.
00:11:37
Speaker
I just don't believe that.
00:11:40
Speaker
I don't believe any company actually hires only the smartest people.
00:11:45
Speaker
Because human beings will find a way.
00:11:47
Speaker
You can have the best recruitment systems.
00:11:49
Speaker
Human beings will find a way to start hiring people they like.
00:11:52
Speaker
And they're friends with or no or some shit along the way of that.
00:11:56
Speaker
And then, you know, all of it just gets sucked into the system and you don't end up with the smartest people.
00:12:01
Speaker
All right.
00:12:02
Speaker
So there's only two explanations.
00:12:05
Speaker
Either they actually managed to do it, which I don't believe it, or there's some kind of vampires.
00:12:10
Speaker
All right.
00:12:10
Speaker
I almost said vampires.
00:12:12
Speaker
Vampires.
00:12:13
Speaker
That's what it is.
00:12:14
Speaker
Those guys, Goldman Sachs.
00:12:16
Speaker
are the real Illuminati.
00:12:20
Speaker
They know everything's... I don't even understand the stock market.
00:12:24
Speaker
You know when people go, oh, yeah, just short the stock or whatever.
00:12:28
Speaker
And they go, but I'm like, hey, if the thing's going down and the price is going down, how did you make a profit?
00:12:33
Speaker
I don't know.
00:12:33
Speaker
But Goldman Sachs,
00:12:35
Speaker
manages to do that.
00:12:36
Speaker
So there's something up, people.
00:12:39
Speaker
If you ever have to walk in there, I would say carry some garlic.
00:12:43
Speaker
Yeah, carry some garlic with you and maybe a wooden stake.
00:12:45
Speaker
Just in case, you'll thank me later.
00:12:48
Speaker
Unless you're making money with them, then don't kill them, right?
00:12:51
Speaker
Just makes sense.
00:12:56
Speaker
Just recession.
00:12:58
Speaker
What are you supposed to do when a recession hits anyway?
00:13:01
Speaker
Are you like so smart people tell me you just start putting money away.
00:13:06
Speaker
But don't you aren't you supposed to do that regardless?
00:13:09
Speaker
Like.
00:13:09
Speaker
You're supposed to save money anyway, right?
00:13:11
Speaker
Like put aside some, if you can.
00:13:13
Speaker
I don't know what that feeling's like.
00:13:15
Speaker
Someday, I hope, I hope someday I'll have that feeling of like, oh, I've got some leftover cash.
00:13:21
Speaker
Oh my God.
00:13:22
Speaker
Wow.
00:13:22
Speaker
Maybe I can put it into a savings account.
00:13:25
Speaker
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:13:26
Speaker
What's happening?
00:13:27
Speaker
This is crazy.
00:13:27
Speaker
Whoa.
00:13:28
Speaker
Oh, now I'm earning interest on it?
00:13:30
Speaker
This is mind-blowing.
00:13:31
Speaker
Should have started this at the age of 18.
00:13:33
Speaker
Yeah, so what are you supposed to do?
00:13:37
Speaker
People tell me crazy stuff like that.
00:13:38
Speaker
People tell me, oh, it's a recession.
00:13:40
Speaker
Stop hiring.
00:13:41
Speaker
I'm not hiring people.
00:13:42
Speaker
I'm...
00:13:45
Speaker
Was I about to start a business?
00:13:46
Speaker
I'm not supposed to start that business.
00:13:48
Speaker
What do you do?
00:13:49
Speaker
Cut costs, right?
00:13:50
Speaker
How do you cut costs, man?
00:13:52
Speaker
Everything's expensive.
00:13:54
Speaker
That's the worst tip when we talk about finances and stuff and people look at you and go, cut your costs, bring your costs down.
00:14:01
Speaker
I'm like, what?
00:14:01
Speaker
I have a kid.
00:14:03
Speaker
All right.
00:14:03
Speaker
I have a four year, almost a four year old kid and a wife and and essentials.
00:14:08
Speaker
I spend my money on essentials.
00:14:09
Speaker
What do you want me to give the kid away for a while?
00:14:11
Speaker
Just go.
00:14:11
Speaker
Hey, listen, I'm cutting costs.
00:14:13
Speaker
I know you're only just about four years old.
00:14:17
Speaker
Just do your own thing for a couple of years.
00:14:18
Speaker
Come back when, you know, inflation has gone away and I can afford you again.
00:14:23
Speaker
I'm loaning you out.
00:14:27
Speaker
What do you do?
00:14:27
Speaker
Tell your family that, hey, everybody, we're going to stick to two meals from now on.
00:14:33
Speaker
It's just, hey, the whole cost is
00:14:36
Speaker
cutting angle that people talk about.
00:14:38
Speaker
I know some people splurge and stuff, man.
00:14:40
Speaker
But in this world, with everything that's going on, with all this bad news, wars and stuff, and I know it's just an overload of the news.
00:14:49
Speaker
I'm sure the world actually is a better place except it's heating up and about to blow up or whatever.
00:14:55
Speaker
You just need
00:14:57
Speaker
There are times when you want to overspend on a gelato, when you want to go out and pay an exorbitant amount for popcorn that costs two derms to make, you know, or water that's black in color because of a few beans.
00:15:14
Speaker
You just want to pay.
00:15:16
Speaker
20 times what it's worth because you just want to feel good all right that's what it is you just want to feel good about your life and advertisement has made you believe these are the things that will make you feel better
00:15:32
Speaker
And for a second, I do feel better because the marketing works for a while.
00:15:38
Speaker
It's only when I feel bloated and I feel sick and I look at my account later and look at my finances at the end of the month that I go, oh no, what did I do?
00:15:50
Speaker
Right?
00:15:51
Speaker
But in that moment, you need those moments.
00:15:55
Speaker
That's right.
00:15:56
Speaker
That's my pitch.
00:15:57
Speaker
That's how I could be working on your product.
00:16:00
Speaker
If you're a brand manager or someone looking after products, marketing, whatever, you just heard a really good pitch.
00:16:08
Speaker
I can be very convincing.
00:16:09
Speaker
So if you want to bring your brand over to my podcast, just saying, just put it out there.
00:16:15
Speaker
Meanwhile, my fans will appreciate me getting more money.
00:16:20
Speaker
Right, fans?
00:16:21
Speaker
I don't know why I said that.

Superhero Movie Overload

00:16:26
Speaker
They had these movies, right?
00:16:28
Speaker
Comic-Con just happened, and it's great.
00:16:31
Speaker
I love superhero movies.
00:16:32
Speaker
I grew up on it, but I really feel like it's overloaded.
00:16:35
Speaker
I can't keep up.
00:16:36
Speaker
So I'm going to ask you guys out there to give me some tips on what you will watch next.
00:16:41
Speaker
I know a lot of people are already saying Black Panther 2.
00:16:45
Speaker
Because the trailer for that looked really, really awesome.
00:16:49
Speaker
But yeah, let me know what upcoming movies are on your radar.
00:16:54
Speaker
Because I can't keep up with this anymore.
00:16:56
Speaker
I can't.
00:16:57
Speaker
Marvel Universe is just too... I've got my own universe.
00:17:01
Speaker
that i have to care about that you know is quite expensive to maintain so hello if you can bring some of those superheroes into my life and solve some of my problems maybe i'll pay a little bit more attention all right just saying just saying okay cool i did watch on netflix because i'm lazy like that at home um
00:17:22
Speaker
watch the gray man uh ryan what's his name i keep confusing him ryan not ryan reynolds who's the other guy let's look that up i i'm i'm sick you know what i'm sick of is being forgetful so i'm gonna look it up i have google in front of me why not right like this is um not ryan rain ryan gosling
00:17:44
Speaker
the notebook guy and now he's a spy and he's cool and it's a thriller except there's nothing new in it it's the same old story nothing fab about it but uh chris evans character is actually really funny um to watch really interesting he's got that tash that and white trousers you gotta watch it all right
00:18:06
Speaker
um excuse me um ryan gossling's pretty good too i think this was a pitch for him to do uh try to pitch himself as the next james bond i i really think that i'm i'm on to you ryan um the movie's all right it's you know it's nothing it's better than some of the other craps that come on netflix uh it's not a great movie uh like some people are saying it's popcorn and sometimes you need that kind of popcorn
00:18:33
Speaker
So watch it.
00:18:34
Speaker
It's definitely, it doesn't feel like a...
00:18:38
Speaker
It does not feel like a waste of time.
00:18:41
Speaker
And I guess that's the bar I'm at right now because even though there's so much entertainment out there, a lot of it is crap.
00:18:51
Speaker
I have subscriptions to, I don't know, 10 streaming services.
00:18:54
Speaker
I can't even keep up, man.
00:18:56
Speaker
It's only at the end of the month when it hits me.
00:18:57
Speaker
I'm like, why am I subscribed to all this?
00:18:59
Speaker
And I'm like, it's because I'm watching one show on this one, another show on that one.
00:19:02
Speaker
My wife's watching this one.
00:19:03
Speaker
My sister's watching on that one.
00:19:05
Speaker
It just adds up, man.
00:19:06
Speaker
It just adds up.
00:19:07
Speaker
There was one good thing about the gray man I liked was the Danush character.
00:19:11
Speaker
Was that the name of the guy?
00:19:12
Speaker
Yeah, Danush.
00:19:13
Speaker
I think the real actor's name is Avik... Again, I forget.
00:19:20
Speaker
Avik something.
00:19:21
Speaker
Avik San.
00:19:22
Speaker
And his character was pretty cool too.
00:19:25
Speaker
Kind of like a gray area where he was...
00:19:28
Speaker
bad at the beginning but then did a nice thing and he's like a tamil uh assassin i thought that was pretty cool that they added something like that into the film a real non-expected thing where he was cool and not some head bobbing indian idiot right so i i thought that was very cool of the film that's one of the reasons i would recommend it um
00:19:50
Speaker
Yeah, just good performance and shit.
00:19:51
Speaker
So, man, just watch it.
00:19:53
Speaker
If you ain't got nothing else to do, watch it.
00:19:55
Speaker
It's not so good.
00:19:56
Speaker
They're already talking about sequels and stuff.
00:19:57
Speaker
And I'm like, hmm, I don't know.
00:20:01
Speaker
It's definitely his pitch.
00:20:03
Speaker
What I am looking forward to is Nope from Jordan Peele because, hey, why would you not be excited about that?
00:20:10
Speaker
The last two movies he's directed have been great.
00:20:13
Speaker
Actually, I thought the first one was better.
00:20:15
Speaker
Us was, in my opinion, all right.
00:20:18
Speaker
I know people still loved it and stuff, but not as great as Get Out.
00:20:22
Speaker
And let's see if Nope is a hat trick or is he going to go the path of what was that Sixth Sense dude, M. Night.
00:20:33
Speaker
Shalom.
00:20:35
Speaker
um and i'm brown and i can't pronounce his name that's that's how hard it is uh you know he had that really bad patch but he did some horrible films and he every so often he just does something and you're like this is terrible and it's another film he's like this is great and then you watch it and he says this is really bad uh it's probably like is he following the economy or something he's like hey it's a great time ah recession great time and so on so forth i don't know uh i think that's what he's doing um good news
00:21:03
Speaker
And I'm going to end it on a narcissistic, self-indulgent

Visa Renewal Struggles

00:21:09
Speaker
place.
00:21:09
Speaker
I just got my U.S. visa renewed.
00:21:12
Speaker
And man, it just reminds me about how unfair life is.
00:21:15
Speaker
Wait, wait, wait.
00:21:17
Speaker
First of all, I'm happy about getting it.
00:21:19
Speaker
And I'm really grateful because I love going to the States.
00:21:22
Speaker
I'm planning to tour there and take some shows, especially with Rushi Rafiq, my man, my comedy duo friend, buddy.
00:21:31
Speaker
But it also is the process of having to go through Visa.
00:21:34
Speaker
I think I spent almost $100.
00:21:37
Speaker
That's $30 on just printouts of documents they might ask me for.
00:21:42
Speaker
And then I stood out in the sun in the summer heat for two hours to get in.
00:21:46
Speaker
And the whole process took about three hours.
00:21:50
Speaker
And I was thinking, man, if they for any reason decide this time we're not going to give it to you, I would have been devastated.
00:21:58
Speaker
But that's the process you have to go through as a brown person to get.
00:22:03
Speaker
And I think there's something unfair about that.
00:22:04
Speaker
I'm going to do a whole separate podcast on that in my upcoming podcast about
00:22:11
Speaker
how this thing is broken and needs to be fixed.
00:22:13
Speaker
Right?
00:22:14
Speaker
And we'll do that.
00:22:14
Speaker
But why am I talking about my next podcast?
00:22:17
Speaker
Guys, remember, we're in a recession.
00:22:20
Speaker
So take care.
00:22:21
Speaker
Spread the word.
00:22:22
Speaker
And let's get this over with.
00:22:24
Speaker
Not just the recession, but the podcast.
00:22:26
Speaker
Thank you for listening, guys.
00:22:27
Speaker
This is wonderful.
00:22:28
Speaker
I got to run now and take care of other things.
00:22:30
Speaker
You take care of yourself and I'll see you at the next podcast.
00:22:36
Speaker
Until then, bye.
00:22:37
Speaker
Or as a dog would say, woof.
00:22:58
Speaker
you
